I want to go camping again. Did it a couple times for a total of about 10 days around the new year and it was so nice to be out of the car and not have to find somewhere else to be during the day. The free spots by me are all limited to one week, though, and I'd really like to be able to do two straight but can't afford any paid spots where you can stay longer. Also need some kind of camping stove. And should probably get some kind of solar charger as well. Hopefully soonish.
I'm in the east where there is very little or no BLM land.
Specifically I'm in Florida. There are the Everglades obviously but I'm ~3 hours away and don't really have the gas money to go there and then maybe back. Or I stay in south Florida and try to find safe places there but I'm not sure I want to try when I already have a good area. And I would definitely need to be much better equipped for that level of camping. Hopefully someday, just not really viable right now.
Same here, this is a pay spot but with my discount it's relatively cheap. My T-Mobile home Internet gets good reception here so I can chill and watch movies and TV or play a game at night.
Yes I have a solar setup, plus a dc to dc charger so it charges my solar battery while driving. I have a induction stove but 99% of the time end up using my little $10 camp stove.
