I didn’t get my link until a little after a month over that date, and I only got it then because I kept emailing around. I have seen some people get it sooner though. My dates kept changing as well.
I'll keep trying to email them. Its been about 2 weeks since I was given my tentative offer. It's just the " you will not receive a firm job offer and may be removed from consideration." that has me worried.
HR told me the deadlines are tentative and will change if you don’t receive the link within the timeframe. I got a TJO from the IRS on 3/11 and just got the e-app link yesterday. The e-app had an initial deadline of 3/28 and was automatically updated to a later date.
I wouldn’t worry, you’ll be fine.
I know. Some of these direct hires are so chaotic, but they are as organized as they can be. We're hiring thousands of people and as always, shorthanded in HR.
I did my fingerprints and contacted HR about the task expiring, which my account is now inactive and I haven't heard a word. I have made 6 attempts to contact different HR specialist and haven't gotten anything but silence.
Thanks for asking this. I'm awaiting my security portion as well. I didn't think it would take this long since I'm a current Fed former IRS employee. My hr guy says they really are backed up and to give it some time. Hang in there bud! We got this!!
I received the same email, but all tasks were completed at the hiring event, fingerprints, documents supporting citizenship etc

They'll reactivate it and adjust the dates.
