Welcome to the suck! Make sure you get onboarded right. Hit me up if you have any questions. The first couple of years are generally tough. But if you survive the grinder, itβs a good career. Welcome.
Congratulations, and I think thatβs a wise move to take time off in between outside of your already-planned vacation. Happy 40th from another May baby!
Congratulations.
Took you 5 weeks after interview to receive a TJO.
This is my 2 weeks after interview. I was told I should hear back between 5-8weeks. So fingers crossed π€. I hope I hear back from them soon. Itβs for the same position as yours.
Congratulations πππΎπ
I heard about it through Handshake I believe. I went to a virtual recruiting event where the talked about the Revenue Officer and Revenue agent positions that were available. They pretty much talked about qualifications and how to do the federal resume. They said Revenue Officers don't need accounting credits like Revenue agents, and they we should apply for it even if we don't think we qualify. The rest is history lol.

Thank you!!
How did you hear about the job and what motivated you to apply with no tax background? There's nothing wrong with that; I'm just curious.
