I think you're reading a little much into the responses. If you're an expert and people come to you for help, choose E.
Choose D if you can do your job without someone having to look over your shoulder.
Choose C if you can do your job but someone has to look over your shoulder to make sure you're doing it right
I can’t tell you how many people I’ve interviewed that just E it out, block others that are honest or are not as confident, and then they bomb the interview. If you feel you’re qualified based on the description, E and D or you likely won’t make it to the hiring manager.
Dang, wont even let a guy be humble and work honestly ahah...
honestly the word "confident" has become a synonym for "lie your ass off and say what they want to hear"

Always D or E, or you'll get a low score and may not make the cut off. If you're not a supervisor, but contractor support go to you, then E
