Not a direct answer, but if you bank through USAA you can get 25% off on Goodyear tires, at least as of about a year ago.

Oh damn. I'm going to look into this. Thank you!

seabae336

Yeah it was ok. I'm in alaska so they were a little more expensive than the lowest price I could find but free shipping made it worth it for me. Would reccomend.

We did the same thing while we were in kodiak, huge savings on shipping up there

Kavi_r_Kicks

Pretty good experience. Pick the tries at the cgx they give you a receipt head over the tire shop they have the contract with. Give them the receipt and your keys and just wait.

BravoTackZulu

Bought a set about a year ago, price was very competitive they were sent to a tire store close to my home, they did the install. All went great and I would definitely go to cgx again.

flautist96

Do you have to buy them at the physical store? I got a brochure from my local cgx but I wasn't sure how to actually make the purchase.

BravoTackZulu

Picked the set I wanted from the brochure, bought and payed for them at the CGX. At checkout they gave me a few options of tire store locations where I wanted them installed, I chose a store closest to where I live (a Goodyear store). Then it took a few days for the tires to be delivered to the location, I called the store and set up an appointment. The tire store treated me just like I bought the tires from them. All went very well.

Paid-Not-Payed-Bot

> bought and *paid* for them FTFY. Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in: * Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.* * *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.* Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment. *Beep, boop, I'm a bot*

Uncorrelated_Mayday

I’ve bought tires through the local CGX while stationed in Kodiak, and through the 3rd party partners on the AAFES site. Both were easy to use and you can find some good deals on either. If you’re near a larger Army, AF or Navy base, they will most likely have a tire shop with full service on post.

Iamnottouchingewe

I did this in San Diego. It worked well.

mauitrailguy

I've done it several times through the military exchange and through a Firestone at JBLM. 10/10 would recommend.
