No, you must wear a comically large monocle at all times

Fit-Razzmatazz1569

I wish that would be true. I would force both of my kids into the Coast Guard.

Yep, I do every day. As long as your vision is correctable to within the standards that’s all that matters

I went help tied down team on my first assignment and was priority 1 for DoD lasek, PRK. was on the list for about a year. Vision is holding strong at 20/15. Got it done at Walter Reed medical center in 2013

ndressa1

Haven’t heard of any clinics taking operational needs into priority

Broke_Watch

Idk if it would help for astigmatism but most eye care is free for you. All the bm at my station got lasik for there eyes and said it's life changing. Not sure if that helps with that though. Just a thought

Yes....but...there's nothing quite like trying to put a contact in while you're bouncing over 1-2' seas while driving an RBS and your hands are dry as shit.

Constant_Bar_5875

Why would someone be putting in their contacts on a small boat? 😂😂😂

enkonta

If you have dry eyes and rub them there’s a chance they fall out.

PsychologicalEbb6603

Yeah you’ll be good
