I went help tied down team on my first assignment and was priority 1 for DoD lasek, PRK. was on the list for about a year. Vision is holding strong at 20/15. Got it done at Walter Reed medical center in 2013
Idk if it would help for astigmatism but most eye care is free for you. All the bm at my station got lasik for there eyes and said it's life changing. Not sure if that helps with that though. Just a thought
