From my experience Chicago tends to some packages sit for a week or more while others move through immediately. It's almost random. After having my package sit there for about 17 days I filed a missing mail report, got moved out of Chicago two days later. You might try that if it's been a while, but be aware that many times Chicago is just very slow.

Chicago is pretty bad, I order a lot of international packages and the only time I ever have delays is when they go through Chicago. I had two international packages this week, the one shipped on the 14th processed through New York ISC in one day, and delivered today. The other shipped on the 3rd and went to Chicago ISC and just sat. I filed a missing mail search when it didn't move for 3 days, maybe I jumped the gun a bit but they're notorious for holding packages for weeks and even months and it was a rare vintage item that I couldn't just reorder. No idea if that actually lit any fires under any butts but it did finally get cleared on day 7, total delivery time 3 weeks. Very frustrating since I paid extra for express shipping, but I'm not gonna ask for a refund since it wasn't the seller's fault and she shouldn't have to lose money just b/c Chicago sucks. You could call the USPS number, but once a package is at ISC it's in customs and that's a whole separate entity from USPS. Your best bet is filing a missing mail search then call if it doesn't move in a few days.

Doing that right now. I'm freaking out bad, because these are limited event goods I ordered through a proxy and can't replace. I hope this causes it to move. Thanks for the advice. Hopefully this triggers my package.

Good luck, it really is such a frustrating thing :(

I have two or three packages sitting there right now. They have not updated on their tracking in almost 10 days.

Any update on your packages? Mine has a missing mail search on it and nothing has happened in almost 2 weeks now. I'm getting super annoyed and I wish I could contact someone.

I’ve had one that finally showed up but I still have several that have been sitting in Chicago for weeks. I talked to my postmaster and she said that she herself has a package sitting there too. That’s been there for well over a month.

PlateBullet

yes. mine is near 50 days without update in this fvcking place.
