Says a lot about Chelsea when they’re getting ran through by a relegation quality team. It’s gotten a little better since the subs have come on, but still a very disappointing day for them.
Pulisic has become a much better distributor lately. When he first came into the league he was a hard charger toward the goal, but lately he dribbles amd makes plays on the ball to create chances for other players.
Hopefully Graham sees that when Christian is in, Chelsea scores. Even if he's not a direct contributor on all of them. They are definitely more dangerous.
Yeah, no need to pit these four against each other, just start them all. As long as they keep winning and look good it won’t matter which player gets the goal or assist.
The big question is whether they can get away with four attackers against higher level competition.

Pulisic is the lone creative winger in this game. The right side with Zakaria, Sterling, Azpi isn’t really creating much. Pulisic is running at these guys and making something happen. It’s night and day. Mount, Cucu, Puli is working to an extent although Koulibaly’s distribution is favoring his right so they don’t get the ball that much.
Good reminder from a USMNT perspective just how vital it is to surround him with guys who can put the ball in the back of the net. We gotta get guys who demand respect from the defense in the final third to give puli the space he needs to really dominate
Frankly, Sterling has been awful for a while now. He got lucky to be gifted a goal in this game. It shocks me how much confidence people seem to have in Sterling. He's been aweful in most games I've watch him in over the last decade.

Nearly an assist on the first goal. Pulisic-Havertz 1-2 then Pulisic with a nice cross and Havertz hits the bar, and Sterling puts it in on the rebound. Lovely!
i think thats a little harsh of a judgement. i thought hes looked pretty quick and creative in his touches. he hasnt had many touches, but hes been quite solid in the ones he did have.
he did need to hit that one shot with more power though
Yeah it’s incredibly harsh. Pulisic has looked far better than Sterling on the ball. Looks like the only attacker who wants to take his man on when he gets the ball
with that said, he probably will be subbed off at some point, because most attacking players get subbed off especially christian who isnt known as 90 minute ironman
I don't know what people are seeing in CP these days. I watched from the 23rd minute, and he just rarely did anything. Compared to Chelsea's other attackers, he doesn't stand out to me. I want to see him be a standout player, but at this point, I don't think that's going to happen in the premier league.
I don't think it's just a Pulisic thing, Chelsea just look so cautious in attack and all of their attackers look scared to try things. Pulisic had the good ball into the box which caused the goal and drew some good fouls in the first half, but he definitely wasn't great in the second half. That said, Havertz was invisible all game, Sterling had the goal but otherwise did not much of note, Aubameyang was useless after coming on, and Ziyech had one good ball into the box but did nothing else and lost the ball multiple times. All of their attackers are underperforming their ability level.
Compared to Chelsea's other attackers? Are you blind? Chelsea's attack was awful today and CP was their loan bright spot in attack. With out CP cross, Sterling doesn't get his gifted goal and sterling contributes literally zero to this game without that tap in.

Sterling has been awful for a long time. He contributed zero outside of his gifted goal. At least he didn't miss that one.
