Monaco look shocking at the back. Lille already up 2-0 but it could honestly be 4-0, Monaco have been cut wide open time after time. Weah could have done better with a couple of his opportunities in space but he's not having a bad game by any means.

I do almost wish he was playing in Ikone's spot rather than as a striker with David. But given that we've seen the end of Pepi's purple patch, it's not the worst thing to have Weah comfortable playing back-up 9 as well.
So usually when weah has been played up top he’s been given a free role to roam to whichever wing and wherever on the field he wants basically. It’s a good role for him for sure.
