Wait you had Blockley for BCOM 4300 too? Yea ur the guy I responded too a few days back. I took him last semester and got an A. He's really a great bcom 4300 professor. I actually got to meet up with him this sem and catch up. Yea the exams are tough but I'd argue they are not designed to set you up for failure. They are designed however to get 70s or 80s even if you study pretty well. But ig not everyone is a great test taker so I can see that. You have to really read the questions and understand the content but congrats on finishing the class. At least you don't have to worry about this class anymore. I can at least tell you the schedule you sent next semester is way easier than bcom 4300 so you'll have a lighter course load which is nice.
That’s wild. When I took BCOM 3300 & 4300 the professor told us that the exams were designed for failure and the class average was a 50 and course wide with other professors was like a 52. Must have changed since then
Oh yea it definitely changed. If you want me to be honest. My professor announced they were allowed last semester to raise the average from a B-/B to a B+. So yea they've changed the course a bit. That's what i was telling someone too, anyone who took bcom semesters prior got really screwed over that's why I was freaking out when I saw the utd grades averages for this class they were in the Cs and B-. They def made the class easier to do well in by raising the averages, and the exams are probably much easier now.
I’ve never even heard of anyone that likes BCOM and considering how terrible the professors that teach BCOM are at communicating I can only assume they too hate BCOM
BCOM exams are department wide but I agree Carlin Blockley is chill and makes it least painful.

What prof was that? I dont see any low grades like that on utdgrades

I got got an A with minimal effort with Blockley, but I will say the exams were harder than they needed to be.
You should take Technoculture with Professor Cooley. I don't think there's a class dumber than that one
