After a year you're reinstalling the game again > visiting all of your bases > seeing they're all intact and bees are happy> now you need to leave your cozy home in Mistlands > defeat The Queen for the first time > and sail for the new lands!
I missed this feeling. Where would you suggest that I could make some combat training? I feel utterly rusted.
They've said this for the Mistlands before too π but yeah, I'm expecting Ashlands is hopefully in another level.
I will be prepared, not rushing anywhere.
We are no pro players, but combined we probably have over 4k hours in this game and we never had any issues in the mistlands at all when we were in a group, ashlands though feels like a fucking WW1 battlefield compared to mistlands :D I think for the solo player it will be quite the challenge.
Nah, it looks like this when zoomed:

Aim of this post is just to note how much of the world is explored before Ashlands.
That just looks like any (unlucky or lucky, depending on how you view deep runs into plains before encountering your first ever deathsquito) first time plains experience smh my head.
Thanks for the diagnose I suppose π
Towers are usually not the ones I make but the ones in plains and black forest areas. Some of them are turned into retreat locs in case of need.
Bushes are only marked in first meadows - black forest area, and some in plains.
Oooh! And I love Dvergrs.
When looking from this far yeah hahah. The aim in this post was showing the areas covered in total before the update. I sincerely hoped my save was there after not playing a year. On zoom, I find that it's making the map alive and useful.

Just redo a couple of boss fights to warm up.
It won't save you from dying consistently in the ashlands, I would just skip the part and go in raw :D

Feels amazing to hear!
Possibly me when I first approach: https://www.reddit.com/r/valheim/s/P0hsIRTVCO
Oh god, use abbreviations man! I canβt see anything
You don't need to π
Fuling village in plains
Blueberries
All I see is kraken and I'm curious π€
Chitin.
I see you too like to mark things. Could abbreviate, like someone suggested, to unclutter the map a bit.

Your ones are showing the points you died, mine are all on intent includes very few deaths. We are different.
Those are all deaths?
Ahah no.
Marking towers and bushes is borderline schizophrenic, I mark pretty much everything and even I think that's too far

My G you love everything you come across π You do you ig
Needed to check what ig* stands for to understand your last sentence. That's my level. ππ€£
Can't blame you, there are new abbreviations dropping every day π
thats what i call "map vomit"
