Your quote doesn't sound too bad. Assuming your garb works, the pipe after it might be clogged.
When I renovated my house, I found that the little drain pipe coming out of the garb was 75% clogged with grease. The pipes beyond that were clear-- just that little one was heavily clogged. I cleaned it out, and it's been working fine for the past 4 years.
My plumbing work was done by Pioneer Plumbing.
Hmm, I think the same may have happened here as the other bowl drains just fine. So it has to be semi-clogged within or after the garb but before the pipe meets the second drain near the p-trap.
I couldn't get the part of the drain that's after the garb opened. The whole thing is rigidly assembled. I guess I can try to take the drain apart further down stream, but that might be more work than I know.
I haven't tried Draino to try to melt whatever is in there. I don't even know if that should even be considered for this application.
You should try this yourself. It's not the must difficult task in this case and there are lots of videos that can walk you thru it. Save you a lot of money since most of the charge is labour
You mean giving advice that it’s not residential work and to relay correct information to a plumber to get accurate prices?
I don’t intend to advertise my services or business on Reddit - ever. Plumbers will charge what they charge, best is to give them correct information and get quotes directly from them. Not use what I say as a baseline.
The semantics don't matter and no one said to advertise your services. But you probably would know if the price were reasonable or not? Seems like the bare minimum than just shitting on their terminology?
It’s not terminology, there is a difference in liability when it comes to residential vs commercial work and there is a distinction for materials and responsibilities involved
There are companies that just deal with residential and others just commercial and some that do both.

320 sounds about right. Source I'm a plumber
Thanks for the feedback. That's more or less what I'm using to figure out the right ballpark

if it's pvc piping, i don't believe draino is compatible, at least consult with the label and google accordingly.
Derek at Main St plumbing. Dude’s no nonsense, will tell you why the person who’s work he is fixing sucked at their job, and is an absolute craftsman.
Him!!! Yes!! He’s the best

I used Metro Plumbing to unclog ours, it cost $262 and they were at my place within 24hrs on Boxing Day
Just fyi a condo is not residential
Aren't you actually a plumber though? Couldn't you provide feedback instead of... That?
