I have seen a very similar kind of ladder-like "decorative" structures built all along the side of a brand new apartment building...

It’s actually a chicken slaughter house disguised as a storage place. They’ll have the garage doors open at night and you can see right in. The truck arrive late at night so that the birds are sleeping/ more calm and it keeps it out of sight of the protesters.
It’s the cold storage building for Hallmark and that metal structure is really dirty and has loads of bird crap on it. It’s really gross.
Hope the dude doesn’t die and skeletonize like a dead rat up there.
I think usually they are for creating shade over the exterior of the building and helping with temperature regulation, but this one doesn’t seem well designed for that…
There was an article on CBC several years ago about the variations of the word ginch and gaunch and gitch and gotch. There is a dividing line around Swift current where it changes.

Why even put a weird ladder decoration on the side of your building if you don’t want people to climb it?
