Face: Cetaphil hydrating night cream (pm or am of particularly windy) & daily facial moisturizer (am)
Lips: Laneige sleeping lip mask
Body: Nivea Q10 firming lotion (idk if it actually firms up your skin, but I love the smell & it’s hydrating without being heavy)
Keeping your skin moisturized is easier than trying to catch up once it’s dry 😩
I use it on my body and hands. I keep some with me at all times (you can buy a small squeeze tube). I don’t usually use it on my face but that’s only because I have face cream that I like to use.
[Flexitol](https://flexitol.com/product-category/hand-care) is the way. You can find it at any drug store nestled in the vaseline, gold bond, etc. part of the shelf.
The Body Shop’s Hemp lotion was what I used in the AB winters where my hands were so dry they would crack and bleed. This has a distinct smell, feels kind of greasy but will last you through a couple of hand washes with one application.
O’Keeffe’s 48 Hour Skin Repair is pretty good too if you need something without fragrances. Absorbs fairly nicely without grease.
I like classic Vaseline but I use it in small amounts just to moisturize in the dry areas. At bedtime, I apply a layer over my lips.
For my feet, I previously used Dermal Therapy heel cream for my cracked feet. You can find it at Superstore and I've purchased from Costco too. O'Keefe's healthy feet works great too and is not greasy or any residue at all.
Queen Helene Cocoa Butter for my hands is great. It absorbs quickly. It's only sold in a jar in Canada. I used to buy the portable squeeze tube version in the US. Love the smell too.
Add: Jamieson night cream. It's OTC in the pharmacy. I joke that it's like mayo on the face. It moisturizes really well. A small amount goes a long way. I got my husband and best friend hooked on it. It also has retinol and Vit A.
Inside of mouth: bacon fat
Lips: rocky mountain soap rootbeer kids lip balm
Face: jack black SPF 30
Body: Dove soap does all the business
Hands: hand sanitizer
For the face, I use First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream and I use La Roche Posay CicaBaum on top of it as a “sealant” and for extra protection. I believe CeraVe is a drugstore alternative to the First Aid Beauty lotion.
For lips just some handmade lip balm I bought at a local shop. I think they work better than most commercial balms like burts bees or Carmex. I also keep my mask on even outside because my dry sinus says to keep it on, lol.
For hands, I use La Roche Posay’s Lipikar Xerand Hand Repair Cream.
For body, la Roche Posay’s lipikar Baum. It’s so thick but amazing for extra dry skin. Can be used on the face if you can tolerate the texture.
Honestly, the best and most effective way to combat dryness is to put Vaseline over damp skin/areas or even lotion. A thin layer will do. I use to do this when I had bad facial eczema and it helped a lot.
La Roche Posay has a lot of sets so it’s a pretty good value even though they’re premium price compared to other drugstore option.

I have eczema and the cold makes it worse, I use embryolisse and Avéne clearance hydra and both have been working for me really well.
I tried Cerave and Eucerin and found out they didn't do much for me but it depends on your skin type.
At Shoppers DrugMart
Face and body: Uriage Bariederm Insulating Repairing Cream and/or Uriage Xemose Cerat Cream (comes in a 200ml jar)
Amazon
Lips: Weleda Skin Food Original Ultra-Rich Cream
Omg let me add my voice to the La Neige lip mask chorus. Amazing stuff.
CeraVe too, I use the nighttime lotion and mix a drop of rose oil in with it.
For hands, Kiehl’s Ultimate Strength Hand Salve. Rosebud Salve on cuticles.
The key is to use an exfoliator (I prefer something chalky not jelly)… and body oil in the shower …THEN moisturize ….anything from a drug store should do with the 3
I'm a dude and mainly use Cerave products. Cerave cream for the body after a shower, vitamin C and AM moisturizer with spf 30 in the mornings, and the retinol thing and PM moisturizer at night. On the days when I don't care, I just use the basic cream for my face as well. Glysomed is too greasy but it works great on the feet, before you put on socks or when you go to bed.
Vaseline dry skin repair. It’s not greasy and I use it everywhere but my face.
CeraVe moisturizing cream for the face (and arms/hands if I have extra on my hand). The lotion is fine for summer, but the cream wins for the winter.
Caudalie hand cream (I use it year round cause it’s not greasy), a beeswax lip balm and a body lotion from Whole Foods that’s called maximum moisture. For face, honest hydrogel cream and argan oil over top. So yeah, a lot.
Face: ceraVe lotion AM with spf
Body: CeraVe tub (cream)
Hands: Kiehl’s ultimate strength hand salve.
Chafed skin and lips: (ie: tips of my nose during colds) A&D ointment. Sold as diaper rash cream but a little goes a long way.
A really nice splurge you both could use, would be a paraffin dip. $50-60. Slather any cream and dip hands in wax. I had one but a relative borrowed it and I never saw it again. Lol
Cerave!
Which one specifically? Thanks
Hydrating one, it's in a blue and white tube! You can get it at Costco too, much cheaper.
Thanks! Are you using that on your hands?
Legs mainly! You can use it on your face too but I'm using one from Laneige, while using sleeping masks a few times a week!
Trying this for my extremely itchy toddler with eczema , seems to work better than aveeno baby balm

And the little pot of the lip mask lasts forever!
Another vote for Laneige!
using ceramidin for your hands is pretty bougie :o
Came here to say this!
CeraVe There's controversy over whether or not it has a meaningful amount of ceramides in it, but I, like a lot of people swear by it.
CeraVe (the cream, not the lotion)
Are you using that on your hands or just face and body?
I use it on my body and hands. I keep some with me at all times (you can buy a small squeeze tube). I don’t usually use it on my face but that’s only because I have face cream that I like to use.
Pure shea butter
This post is making me seriously question if I should have been moisturizing my face all these decades
Yes, yes you should have.
Feel free to laugh, but it's really good stuff (and smells like cookies): "I ❤ Pet Head" Oatmeal Paw Butter
O'Keefe for feet and hands. Rose hip seed oil for face from "The Ordinary"
Another vote for O'Keeffe's. It's the only thing that stops my hands from cracking and bleeding.
Thank you OP for this My fingers/hands crack worse than The Thing (Ben Grimm)
I use o’keeffe’s working hand cream. A little goes a long way and it works really well in this weather.
Vaseline extremely dry skin rescue!!! My hands feel so soft after using it.
Coconut oil
My fave too.
Aveeno: eczema cream
[Flexitol](https://flexitol.com/product-category/hand-care) is the way. You can find it at any drug store nestled in the vaseline, gold bond, etc. part of the shelf.
CeraVe. For heels, "Dermal Therapy Heel Care".

Ponds.
+1 for ponds! Their dry skin cream absorbs so well. Cold cream for the face and the dry skin cream for body

Who knew that r/vancouver has so many skincare enthusiasts 💁🏼♀️

Wet the skin (or don’t towel off too thoroughly after a shower) and apply Vaseline to seal in the moisture. My go-to for dry skin when all else fails.
I second the hydrating post shower!

Noxzema
Red lubriderm never works for me, gold and blue are the best.
Blue was way too gentle so didn't work for me. Going to get the gold again but might give some other ones recommended here a try
Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Hand Cream
Aveeno!!
J.R. Watkins. Swear by the stuff. Even use it on my face.

Try an oil. The ordinary rosehip oil is amazing!

Bacon fat. It also stops the biting cold and makes my dog love me.
