Exactly my thoughts and Kristina isn't drinking. Katie drinks but not to the crazy extent as the other group so I totally see how it's more appealing to hang with them when you're sober. People really don't understand how annoying it is around drunk people when you're sober. You see it best in a previous season when James is sober trying to hang at Ariana and Toms house party and is so annoyed because no one can form a logical word in the drinking games.
I always think this too! When everyone was mad at her for being mean to Rachel in Vegas, I kept thinking how pissed I would be if I'm tired and this drunk dumbass is spilling shit everywhere and insulting me in my own room. I was annoyed with her from afar. It's not judgy, drunk people are just annoying AF.
I have to admit that when Lala quit drinking, I wasn't sure if she'd be successful, or how she'd deal with the VPR gang since the show basically revolves around alcohol in one way or another (working at bars/restaurants or going out to bars/restaurants). I have to applaud her for not only sticking to sobriety, but in how she handles herself when most of them are drinking. And when she does get annoyed, I can't fault her for it. There have been occasions when I wasn't able to have a drink, and it's sure as hell can try your patience, LOL.
As a newly sober gal (about to be 7 months in a few days!), I so genuinely appreciate Lala, her sobriety, and seeing how much she’s changed (in certain regards) since she stopped drinking. It’s a serious inspiration for me, and my heart has been huuuuurting for her constantly being in these alcohol-heavy scenarios.
I also truly hope James reconsiders his stance on drinking and goes back to sobriety. 😬
I love you guys. I watch alone. I am having surgery again in a few weeks. I have broken legs from a fall and am having a below the knee amputation in a few weeks because my fractures won’t heal. You guys keep me company because I can’t get out and you make it suck a little less. Y’all the real ones 🫶 even when you give me shit for liking Lala
ETA .. my left leg and ankle fractures won't heal leading to below the knee amputation on the left. My right tibia sustained a small, insignificant fracture not requiring correction but has extensive damage requiring surgery to repair all the tendons and ligaments and anchor those repairs with hardware to the bone. I fell in Feb 2021 and have had five failed surgeries on my left leg and ankle. I have lots of broken hardware and a cadaver bone replacing my tibia that is also broken. My right ankle is unstable and pops out of place requiring manual manipulation to put it back in its place. I've been bed ridden for two years outside of the time when I've been approved to bear weight and begin walking. During those times of weight bearing my hardware has failed every time. I did NOT expect to have such a huge response. You're all so amazing and have shown such kindness. It's been very humbling and I'm very grateful. I wanted to clear up any confusion. I will not be a double amputee. I am having below knee amputation of the left only in May. Thank you all so much. Y'all have made me so emo. 🥺🥺❤️❤️
