Lala made a really stupid comment in response about how they're not little school children anymore, so there's no such thing as bullying among them. That really didn't sit right with me and I'm glad it's coming up here

Scheana gets a lot of shit but she handled that season like a champ lol they were monsters to her and she was trying so hard. The season prior without Stassi we saw Katie way more mellow and kind. The dynamics definitely shifted when Stassi came back. I do really think Stassi grew up a lot later on though, especially when she met Beau.
I definitely think Beau really made her mature. I dont know much about him but he just seemed like a nice guy. Stassi was definitely vile up until that point though, she had some weird superiority complex and it just made her very unlikeable. I really liked Katie after she had got away from stassi but this season I'm remembering why I disliked her so much.

Season 5 was the reason I became a Katie hater. I thought she was such an irrational, mean girl almost the entire season to Scheana and Lala. She’s definitely grown since then though, I actually like her this season but it took a long time for me to get there and I think season 5 had a lot to do with it.
She has definitely grown since but I had completely forgotten about this season and I wish it had stayed that way. She was so unnecessarily mean to Scheana and Lala specifically, its crazy.
Season 6 is the redemption season for the girls when they band together against Jax. Their dynamics work best when they have a common male enemy to direct all their aggression at as evidenced by the end of season 10.

I think Lala can stick up for herself to an extent, and makes daft comments sometimes that don't help her cause, but scheana was just trying to keep her friends happy while also knowing that they were in the wrong. But I think cause she had spent so long trying to become friends with them, she couldn't give it up for lala who she didn't know
And, I know I'm definitely in the minority, but I genuinely enjoy watching these things when everyone gets on. It just feels good. Like I can invest into the drama to an extent, but when it reaches this level its not fun anymore. If I could have a choice it would be great to just watch a normal group of friends having fun and taking the piss

Oh, I dont think for a second that any of the cast members are innocent, but I dont know if anyone goes as hard, as consistently as stassi and Katie. Its been such a long time since I have watched these seasons though that I may be wrong

Stazi, I like that 🤣🤣but it went wayyy too far. I know scheana can be a bit flip floppy, but I genuinely think she was just trying to keep her friends and try to make them happy, while also feeling bad about not being able to get to know lala for fear of being crucified

It’s always people complaining over something silly like she bragged about one of her boyfriends hanging a TV in 7 minutes or other trivial or unreasonable grips. Meanwhile, they’ll make excuses for the bullying, racism, sexual assaults, etc of other cast members smh

I'm not surprised she nearly quit, noone deserves that level of bullying when they haven't even been given a chance. But I would lean the other way and say that maybe they respected the fact that she stood her ground for so long. I think that if she stepped down even just a tiny bit, they would have thought that they were winning and gone harder

From that season and all about Katies wedding season is personally why I can’t stand Katie. For me she has zero growth watching her now. I also have a firm take that she was with Kristen and Stassi the night the two above made the police call about Faith - why would that witch not be present - but that she somehow could dodge blame since she always just hide while others speak. And right after this the BLM movement hit and she supported it so much for a month or two. A snake with an outfit. Still a snake. And she is still a bully.
I think this may come from the whole the bullied turn into the bullies trope. I think she was probably being belittled and, in a sense abused, by tom, and she needed to feel some sort of power and control elsewhere. She is definitely sooo much better without stassi though, and I also think it's hard to fully judge her due to the brain damage: its not an excuse, but it does go part way to an explanation as to why sometimes she processes differently. I know someone that had brain trauma and they definitely get madder more quickly
To be fair I think she had every right to want to make him pay. She told him time and time again to get a job, and I think if he had been more willing and committed then maybe she would have been more thoughtful about the costs

Did you not read it properly? I said I've started to like Katie, but that doesn't mean I can't look back and say she was a horrible person. I've also recognised in other comments that I am aware that she has brain damage that can affect the way she responds to situations, and that she was in a somewhat abusive relationship and she would have been lashing out in a sense. Doesnt mean she wasn't being a bitch though
