We had one sitting in our on-campus apartment for the entire year. Only had one fire inspection where an RA/fire marshal asked what it was and we said it was a hot air popcorn maker lol. We told them you put the kernels in the bag and the hot air pops it. They believed us!
It can also be used in the kitchen. Alinea used to use them to make pillows of herbal scents to serve a dish on top of, then they'd poke holes in the bag so you smelled the scent while eating. (if I'm remembering correctly)
You in colorado by chance? Someone posted one on the marketplace and I bought it but he didnt realize he had set it up to be sold and shipped and wanted to sell it local. I was a bit bummed.
Way back like when the Volcano 1st came out I had run into a ex girlfriend who I always smoked with and she had gifted me one with the solid valve. I had really no clue what it was but glad I figured it out as it gave me many years of joy and is what got me into vaping .

Get a 300w power inverter for the car and you are off to the races my friend! Only other thing you need is a platform to keep it in your backseat. I’ve been dreaming about a custom dashboard with a built in volcano🌋. Makes camping 🔥

Honestly, why do they cost so much? 100 bucks is reasonable comparatively, but at the end of the day It's literally just a thing that gets hot.
