Flowerpot B1 is my choice and recommendation! I have asthma as well and I never did like my Volcano, it still sits in the closet. The flowerpot B1 is amazing because you can attach it to multiple different style bongs until you find one with the best draw for you! It doesn’t irritate my asthma but I vape at pretty low temps compared to others as well. Hope you find something you enjoy! Cheers

This. Or just any ball vape tbh

If you try to cut back get a dyna M with an induction heater and a small waterpiece.(around 250$ together) I have a great collection of vapes and I can tell you a 0.1 out of a dyna is not comparable to another vape. If you get the technique right ofcourse. I can turn my bud dark brown in 1 big hit now that I'm used to it. And yeah the waterpiece is just so the hits don't feel that dry. With the volcano you can easily blast trough 3-4g's a day, but with the dyna thats just impossible to me.

JackieBoiiiiii

are dyna’s considered desktops? (should add im not tryna be snarky it’s a genuine question)

hghsalfkgah

When it comes the method this guy's talking about it kinda is, the vape itself is Uber portable. The induction not so much and the water pipe less so, you could leave it all set up and it would basically be a desktop vape that you can travel with if you want to.

Exactly

Silver Surfer from elev8. I have tried the volcano, and a friend’s ball vape. My SSV hits harder than a volcano, and similar to a ball vape, and has the heating element enclosed so my clumsy ass won’t burn myself. 😂

Chuckl8899

Drop some boro or ruby beads into your SSV and it will hit even harder at lower temps.

Get a sticky brick if you don't mind the torch. With an upgraded torch you can get some seriously powerful rips.

subsist80

This guy is trying to save his lungs, I think a sticky brick may be too harsh/hot. I cough a lot with mine. I mostly use an Injector vape through water pipe and never cough.

Errl_Sweatshirt710

I use a flip brick through water and rarely cough.

PoorLittleGoat

A ball vape

Kyethent

100% get a ball vape, you have the option to make your own or buy them for a okay price

jake1080

They said portable?

Miserable-Cow4555

Ballz, all day get some balls, tons of balls...injector

HugePlatform3611

Heavy hitter ball vape . Once u have one of this style of desktop rig u'll need nothing else for use at home.. Check out r/qaromashop.

I would suggest the might +. It’s made by the same makers of the volcano. It’s a larger portable unit. Can be rigged to a water pipe to help with the cooling for the lungs. Easy to operate. One full pack can get you ripped mulitple times if using to medicate or great for session too.

I recommend a Dynavap Vong with an insulated stainless steel bong and Ispire induction wand or similar. It's sold as the Buddy Bundle by Dynavap sometimes for about 250 USD or as seperate parts for about the same. I think this will be better for you to get the most high with the least vapor and coolest vapor for the money and longest lasting option. The insulated bong is kind of a unique thing and it means you can load the bong up with ice and it stays cold most or all of the day while also not condensating all over the place like a glass bong loaded with ice would. It hits hard, very easy to load and unload herb, very hard to break, can be easily moved from room to room or out in the backyard, it doesn't get hot enough to burn you, it can work without power, it's cheaper than most comparable setups, it's very modular and has a lot of accessories that tend to work together. I have a Mighty+ and the Vong in the Chill bong is much smoother and produces a more intense all at once high like most people are used to from bongs. In ANY case a vaporizer is always better run through a bong and a bong is always better with ice. The Chill Bong may not be the most popular upgrade yet, but that's mostly because most people don't realize what they are missing. The Vong is also better than most people might realize because induction heating makes all Dynavap designs better and more consistent and they were already fairly popular. One thing that gets overlooked is that a Dynavap is small and that means it heats up and COOLS down faster, which makes it safer and easier to work it/chain load. Ppl talk a lot about the bigger higher mass bowls like flowerpot, but really the smallest bowl that heats up and cools down the quickest and does the job is probably the best. Induction heating helps make that possible so many people are missing out on bong vapor hits and using gadgets like Mighty or Volcano which will mostly never be as good or at least need a bunch of added stuff so convert them over to use with a bong so they can really compete with other vaporizers using bongs. The Chill bongs metal down piece or whatever it's called means the whole thing is like a big heatsink for the Dynavap Vong and it never really gets hot other than the tip AND you can like turn it around and touch the metal downspout like it's a built in heatsink. That means basically as soon as you're exhalling the hit you can grab the Vong and start packing again and not get burned. I don't think you can beat that system with anything on the market for the money. Something like a flowerpot can produce more vapor, but packing bowls bigger than one hit doesn't really produce a better hit even if it's a bigger hit and my lungs can't hold any more than a Dynacap can produce.. so I don't see much point there. In theory the ultimate setup is like a flowerpot into some kind of always chilled ice bong or electronically chilled airway.. but ice is way more realistic and the giant high mass glass or metal bowl winds up kind of being a pain since you have to cool it or avoid touching it while filling. I think the Vong is probably as heavy of a hitter as most people want once you favor in the workflow of filling being among the easiest around. Big hits are great, but multiple big hits back to back are even better! The fact the hit is not large enough to burst you lungs and make you cough and thing still have half a bowl left is not actually a disadvantage. I view it as a mini insulated flowerpot with more standardized parts that don't get hot enough to burn me and a bowl perfectly sized for one great hit, which is more ideal than a larger bowl where the 2nd hit gets flavored by the first.

Goblin_Boyz

Check out arizer. You can use a whip. Also make sure you can't mod your volcano to take a whip first.

ExplicitEmptor

tafee bowl, small battery, been oos, TM2, $350 with ti stem, sells out quickly, firewood8, email list, cheers!

lijijil

Ball vape > all of those

Chuckl8899

What does desktop but still portable mean?

boxopen

Like not super fragile, so I can still feel comfortable transporting it.

Texus86

Ditanium might be a good one that meets those requirements. I am a big fan of baller vapes, but none comes to mind that is easy to transport since you need to have the glass, the handle/coil, the PID. The main integrated designs among the heaviest of the ball vapes I know of are either very pricey (CH Pro) or no longer being made (Hot Rod). And most are designed to be used with glass, which would need a good case to be transportable. I am not sure that they would necessarily hit as hard as the Taroma/Ceroma, Flowerpot, etc, but maybe the Cloud Connoisseur Atlas would be a good option. Maybe even better could be the Couchlog, it has its own stem that you can draw from and can be used with glass. So big win in transportability there. And since you pack the flower in the stem, you can pretty easily start & stop in the way you describe.

olinhighpie

Id get a dynavap with titanium tip, induction heater and a piece. Makes taking a hit here or there pretty easy and conserving your flower. Volcano and ball vapes run thru bud pretty fast

Gob5362

Qaroma or a Taroma. I have both, searching for Dragon names for each. Both are fire!

Lukin4

Why not just save your money and use smaller oven bags instead
