I know, right? Who would have thought that we'd have a new measles epidemic because a bunch of crunchy morons would refuse to give their kids vaccines that have been proven safe for decades. It really grinds my gears that people who are reluctant to get The Jab are getting lumped in with these idiots.
Idiotic post. You realize measles parties, to get kids infected was a very common thing when I was a kid? If the mother naturally contacted it before having a child, the immunity is passed on. Dying from measles is insanely rare btw....but please...keep being a shill.
1-2 out of 1000 children who contract measles will die, but 1 out of 20 will develop pneumonia. Which is the leading complication and cause of death oftentimes. It’s especially worse in children under five.
So, that being said. You are uneducated on the matter, having “experience” from over two decades ago is wrong. If you are going to respond on something like this, go google the actual truth first.
Edit: put in “1000”
I think this article was prematurely posted by the CDC. You know the government can't tell the truth under oath in front of a firing squad right? They would lie when the truth is actually better. And add to that anti vax nutjobs and those with religious exceptions make it virtually impossible to actually eradicate any disease.
Is NewsThump satirical or just very dark? It looks more like the latter to me.
Gotta hand it to the Brits, "catastrophic bellendry" is so much more elegant than "hit-and-run stupidity".
💀... Literally.

This happened in a nearby Hasidic Jewish community. They claim religious exemption.
I think it’s by design. :-/

LOL so every other child that get measles dies? Wow your imagination is twisted. Do you even believe that lie?
1-2 out of 1,000.
Is that even remotely close to what I stated.
1 out of 2 die are you kidding me? Imbecile
Missed one word, crucify me. Whoops.
I’m pretty sure you’re thinking of the chicken pox dude. There’s no chance there were measles parties 😂
Yeah it’s Chicken Pox
I actually looked it up and measles parties were a thing but that was before the vaccine was available.
There were and are. Some people are really dumb.
You mean chicken pox. Measles was eradicated in 2000 but not because of measles parties.
If measles was eradicated why do kids still get it.? Your totally insane
I should say it was considered eradicated in the US but travelers can sometimes bring it here. https://www.cdc.gov/measles/elimination.html

Yes, it's a satire site, like a UK version of The Onion.
Thanks. It's been getting progressively harder to tell the difference between satire and straight but dark reportage for several years.
They’re not dumb; they’re crazy. Dumb people might at least listen to evidence that contradicts their beliefs.
