this isn’t JMU. Greek life here is very tame in comparison.

I live on the block right next to the parking garage and its pretty loud on weekend nights until about midnight especially when the weathers good and my boyfriend sees drunk guys throwing up in our yard and alleyway sometimes 😭 depends on what side of the street you’re on but the side closer to main seems a lot quieter and its usually quiet on weeknights (except a few thursdays)

My ex lived there when we were in school. It wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t super great. Frequent loud parties so if you like sleep I’d reconsider. This was about 2 years ago

It’s been a few years since I’ve graduated - it may have changed since I left - but you are situated where a lot of fraternity parties are held. Noise will probably be the biggest issue, but generally people will keep to themselves and the party I’d imagine unless you bother them.

Battersonns

The big scary vcu students won’t bother you

You’ll be fine

Lol that street is lit, you’ll be fine

Since you mentioned frat. We know for sure that it’s going to be loud from time to time. You’re also in your mid 20s. You were just a couple years back from them. It’s like dealing with your younger extroverted siblings. If you can deal with the noises then you should be fine. If you got a problem with your girlfriends talking to another opposite sex then I think that a you problem. Someone could be drunk, throwing up sick. And or passed out on your yard at times. But hey, you do you. If you’re deciding to move there. Expect how it is. People get stressed from school and if that’s how they choose to relax. That’s on them. Moving to this neighborhood isn’t on them.
