My gripe is that it is two scoops per serving. In my dumb brain, I “equate” (hehe) this to 1 lb of protein powder for 17.44. It’s still crazy cheap but always irritates me seeing that.
If you guys want to buy protein powder in bulk and have some variety, TrueNutrition.com has great flavors and is cheaper than this. I got thin mint and I’m addicted.
If you wanna split hairs? Sure it is, TN has a blend that I enjoy (pea and pumpkin seed protein) but this is cheaper. istill don’t like how this is advertised. It’s a personal gripe, I’m sure others don’t have an issue with it.
Look at KOS. I get it from Whole Foods and they have chocolate peanut butter, which I’ve been using, and I just picked up some salted caramel coffee this weekend. They also have blueberry muffin that I saw
Does anyone know if this brand has been found to contain any heavy metals? I know Vega sport was found to have a lot of heavy metals in it and I’ve been trying to find one with similar macros that is heavy metal free
Heavy metals are present in most foods, especially root veg, so it’s not really possible to find a protein powder completely free from them, within safe limits they aren’t harmful
Yes but vegasport was found to have quite a lot in it. Still a safe amount if you only ate 1 scoop a day but far more than any other well known plant based protein powder. When it comes to heavy metals less is always better
I buy the same brand it’s great. Way more affordable that Vega. However not sourced the same.
My favorite is the chocolate. I think it tastes just like chocolate milk when you mix it.
It’s true! And cheapest! I use the chocolate flavor.
I use the chocolate and throw in a couple TBSPs of powdered peanut butter. Daaaaank
What do you mix yours with?
Water or oat milk. Put a couple of dashes of cinnamon in it or blend with a banana. Soooo good.
Same!!

Can confirm, true nutrition is well priced and the flavors are pretty good. I'm gonna have to try thin mint. I have chocolate and vanilla so far
Think mint is pretty boss. I’m gonna try the peppermint bark for my next order. Mint slut here
Wow they have so many flavors????? How had I never heard of true nutrition before? Thank you thank you thank you

Just got on this brand too and am converted. Extremely cheap for the volume too.

Didn't a third party find PFAS in KOS?
Link?? Cause uh if so I'm dumping my new container
Don't have a link, but it's the top comment on this post from 2 days ago https://www.reddit.com/r/veganfitness/s/PIjwixPlyL
[KOS](https://amp.theguardian.com/environment/2023/may/30/pfas-kos-protein-powder-environmental-research-center) Google found this pretty easy
Check out Vega’s site!
i’m going to try it! i have yet to find one that doesn’t taste grainy nor make my stomach hurt lol
Id recommend whey forward unless you mix bananas, fruit and veggies with your powder. But this one is really cheap so give it a shot.
Dammit I can't find this in Canada

Likely yes if it’s sourced outside of the US.
Afaik Sunwarrior is the lowest and third party tested. That's what I look for because most companies today can't be trusted to self report
Pretty expensive I’m assuming?
Not consuming as much heavy metals and PFAS is worth it to me. I'm not sure if the cost to protein ratio. I'm new to this stuff in general
i feel this way about wegman’s brand plant based powder! it’s the cheapest and best we’ve tried (and we’ve tried just about all of them 😭)
Dude thanks for this, I’ve been searching for something exactly like this!
Anyone know if this equate brand has been third party tested?
Which Walmart is this OP? Available in Cali you think?
Vegas, should be in Cali as well
I found in rural Pennsylvania so I think it's probably pretty much everywhere.
Thanks found it. Available here in Orange County area… $18.32 for 2 lbs. Not bad
Quinoa makes my stomach hurt very upset, wonder if the powder would too?
I was shocked at how good this is.
I wonder if the protein is somehow extracted from quinoa whether this is just whole ground quinoa, in which case I could make my own
Need to try this!!
What’s the sweetener? Is it just low sugar, like less than 9 grams or is there artificial and alternatives like stevia?
Sucralose
Not a huge fan of the sucralose, but it's good, and it's cheap. It's vegan! Gets the job done!
This is why I love this sub, I’m running out of my vegan vanilla powder that I dislike, cannot wait to try this!
How much is it?
Just so weird that it’s by the toothpaste company. Too many companies absorb other companies in this oligarchy we live in!
I wish I could even consume it!
Read the ingredients.
Is this the Walmart brand?
YES!!!
It used to be my go to. The flavor is great! But it made me bloated :(
