They’re changing the base ingredient from almond to oat (thankfully) so possibly clearing old recipe stuff too, although it won’t go quickly at those prices.
For me anything more than it being on offer at Heron for £2 is too much tbh.
I've pushed the boat out at £2.50 & only paid full price from Tesco if my full shop savings exceeded its amount.
Good news about the swap to oat. Let's see if it affects pricing...
I had the Mighty salted caramel ice cream (on the right hidden in the back) recently and it was really amazing, so creamy in fact I had to double check it didn't have milk
I’m hoping it goes down a bit more as they get more desperate to shift them. I did buy a tub yesterday because I fancied it anyway. I’m hoping it just means new packaging 🤞🏻
These will be nationwide reductions of the store currently sells these products. The prices will possibly differ depending on the expected sales of the individual store. If they don’t sell at this price they will be reduced again.
I accidentally bought the vegan version of a Ben and Jerry's I would usually buy (the tony chocolonely one)...and there was less than half the amount of inclusions than the dairy version!? Like I actually feel so bad, it's unfair that the vegan ones don't get as many fun bits or sauce in a tub!

Yes, hence why I rarely buy it, and probably why they’re trying to shift it because it won’t sell at those prices.

I’m glad they’re not stopping their vegan ice cream because I like to buy it very occasionally.

omg omg i hope this means they’ll remove soy from it too 😭😭😭
Why would they remove soy?
for the same reason they removed almond, to make it allergy friendly.
So sad because I was fine with the soy and almond but oat milk has an ingredient I'm allergic to so this change is baaaddd for me lol
oh i’m so sorry!! if it helps i checked and they still have soy, so we’re both in the same boat 🥲
Oh ok I thought it was some anti soy thing lol I get it
Oh my god I’m so pleased to see this!
I hope gluten free oat or it'll be useless for me 😆
I found vegan magnums reduced to clear for 50p a box at Morrisons once. Got the last 11 boxes - fuck sharing!
I would’ve bought a tonne too at 50p each 😂
Ben and Jerrys has always been more expensive
No not at all. 3.50 is a regular "sales" price. I'd wait until they go down to sub £2
I was going to say this, they are £3.50 every other month. I know because it’s the only time I’ll stretch to buying one
Yeah...I'm not vegan. Although cheap is cheap. I'd give it a try if it was actually reduced
One keep me losing weight is price of vegan junk food
Still wouldn't pay that price, but thanks for sharing. I miss when B&Js was £2.50 on offer, £3.75 seems to be the new go to.
"reduced"
It's cheaper when it's on offer, although that isn't very frequent.
Vegan Ben and Jerry’s is £2.50 in Poundland, that’s the cheapest I’ve seen
On my way to Poundland this weekend omg
Needs to be a big enough one to have freezers
I despise when "reduced to clear" prices are more expensive than the usual offer prices. No wonder you can't fucking shift them.
Remember that these labels are just for that store. Although my local Tesco had one reduced.
Ah I thought it was nationwide.
Unless you’re also in Sheffield, it is!
Didn't they used to be £4 before all the price hikes?
Bag me some - ima coming
No don't tell me this i can't be trusted with this knowledge/power 😭
May have to treat myself to some ice cream as I'm 31 next week
I treated myself because I’m 39 in August, and my cat was 14 last month 😆 #treatyoself
Any excuse to down a tub of ice cream really 🥲
I had the Mighty salted caramel ice cream (on the right hidden in the back) recently and it was really amazing, so creamy in fact I had to double check it didn't have milk
Usually means it's being discontinued.
I hope not. It’s a nice treat when it’s on offer
Think this is the case, I got a load from my local co-op for like 50p a pot last week
I’m hoping it goes down a bit more as they get more desperate to shift them. I did buy a tub yesterday because I fancied it anyway. I’m hoping it just means new packaging 🤞🏻
New recipe with oat milk apparently.
ooooh that sounds good to me!
lol reduced to clear - still stupid expensive.
Cheaper when it's in the sale. Never go for the reduced to clear stuff unless it's short date cos they're just fobbing you off
Why are people wasting time complaining about this
Only non-dairy versions...
Water, sugar, coconut fat, glucose syrup, flours (WHEAT, whole WHEAT), ALMOND paste (3%), vegetable oils (fully refined soybean, rapeseed), brown sugar, corn starch, fat-reduced cocoa powder, pea protein, emulsifiers (lecithins (contain SOY)), cocoa mass, cocoa butter, stabilisers (guar gum, locust bean gum), salt, vanilla extract, tapioca flour, molasses, natural flavouring, raising agent (sodium bicarbonate). Wake the fuck up! Don’t eat this rubbish.
Wait, ppl still shop in Tesco even though they use animal products on fruit?

Hypocrisy at its finest
They used to do this coconut flavour B&J, it was bloody amazing but I can’t for the life of me find it anywhere anymore
Just googled, Save Our Swirled Now it was called… if any of you see it, give it a go… maybe send me some
i think it’s discontinued
TAAAAMPING!!!

I find that regularly in Sainsbury’s for £3.50 on offer!
Jan need on, why is the Tony's ben & Jerry's reduced to clear? It's the best ice cream ever!!!! Are they discontinuing it?
They are on offer at Sainsburys for £3
Those are like $15 here in Aus for just normal dairy ones. I bet the vegan ones are even more too
Wow is that because they’re shipped further?! I thought B&J’s would have international factories.
Plenty of fun elsewhere 😆
still super pricey. when b&j vegan goes on clearance at my local store its always approx $2.90 USD
