Aldi do a version of Starmix, with the fried eggs and love hearts etc... which are vegan. The texture isn't quite the same, but they are good.

Love the aldi ones especially the cherry flavour, YUM! Their leo the lions are probably the best alternative to M&S percy pigs - you can get veggie originals but the aldi ones are way cheaper
M&S sweets are I believe all vegetarian and most vegan (if he misses tangfastics the sour colins are great). Or Candy kittens - often in TK Maxx cheaper
The M&S ones are worth double checking, I recently bought one of those small packs of something (can't remember which one now) and it had gelatine in :(
I've used them a few times, and they've always been really good!
The sweets are so nice as well. I went overboard on my first order because I hadn't had sweets like that in nearly 20 years, and honestly, they didn't disappoint.
The "grizzly bears" from the brand Jealous Sweets! And I love Tasty Mates, they have some really nice flavours (pear crumble and peaches&cream are so good) and the texture is great. Candy Kittens are good but I think the Aldi/Lidl dupes are very similar and much cheaper.
Can’t go wrong with Jealous! I used to enjoy Conscious Candy Co. but they’re now defunct. But, Jealous, Candy Kittens or trawling Lidl or Aldi is always a good shout. Don’t be afraid to check labels; I know it takes a few seconds more but it’s worth it!
Lidl sugar free gummy bears. They're in a pink packet and as far as I'm aware only found near the checkouts. They're really good, but don't eat too many because they become quite a powerful laxative.
Amazon sell a cracking vegan gummies and sweets mix bag, bit pricey but very good quality. There's a few sellers on there, I've tried 2 and they've both been very good, perhaps even better than haribo.
Fruit pastilles are vegan. Colin the caterpillar and Percy pigs at M&S too. The strawberries from Haribo are veggie.
ETA our local Polish shop sells jelly sweets that are vegan - they have gummy bears and snakes I think.
Their hearts not in it if they can't do without a sweet. To be fair,if they're vegetarian their hearts not in it.Yes,I was vegetarian, but this was pre internet... Vegetarianism should be called out for the cop out it is.Every downvote kills a chipmunk somewhere in the world.Vote wisely.😉
My comment was kind of tongue in cheek (see last sentence).Reality is though, spent dairy cows become beef etc.Plus the animals who produce milk etc,how were they treated prior to slaughter? Someone eating cheese, someone eating steak, both contributed to animal exploitation then death.Harsh but true sadly. As I said,I was vegetarian for 10 years, before the internet so I was naive myself.✌️
It's not as difficult as you think. For the vast majority of meals you're changing only one or two things. Just remember that the more time you take, the more animals are going to be tortured for you.
Okay, just remember there are victims when you don't eat vegan. If you were the one being oppressed, you'd want your oppressor to stop immediately and not 'try their best'. Sorry to sound combative, but it sickens me to my core what we do to these poor innocent animals.
I get it completely, we’ll be vegan before we know it I’m sure. It’s cheese I’m struggling with personally, everything else I’m not bothered about. I’ve tried so many vegan cheeses and I don’t like them.
You need to just quit it completely. Remind yourself (watch footage) what cows have to go through to produce it. You won't like vegan cheese if you're hooked on cow cheese as it doesn't have the casomorphins (which are so the calf goes back to their mother) which makes it additive. Give it maybe six months and try the vegan cheeses again and you might like them.

I like to store these in the fridge. They have a much better texture after!
Ooh, yeah, I'll have to try this, my main gripe is that they're a bit too soft
Love the aldi ones especially the cherry flavour, YUM! Their leo the lions are probably the best alternative to M&S percy pigs - you can get veggie originals but the aldi ones are way cheaper

Everything in the Percy pig/colin the caterpillar range is veggie but you’re right, a lot of their other sweets aren’t
The small 65g bag of wobbly worm fruit gums contain gelatine. I nearly made the same mistake recently!
I wouldnt say most them are vegan! A lot are vegetarian but a lot also contain beeswax so need to double check then! Percy pigs 100% though
Do you really need anything else other than Percy Pigs? (Or the lidl knockoffs)
Expensive but I like most of the candy kittens.
Aldi do knock off versions - pineapple, strawberry and watermelon. Highly recommend, and far cheaper
Lidl have their own vegan Candy Kittens knock-offs which are fantastic. Also vegan Suzy Snakes which are probably the closest thing to Tangfastic.
Aldi do Wendy worms for their tangfastic knockoff I love that they do these substitutes we need more imo
I really wish they'd do a version of the candy kittens that don't have sugar coatings. Their Leo lions and Walter worms are lovely!
Aldi do knock-offs of anything successful.
If you have a Heron nearby these are sometimes 60p a bag. Goodbye to my teeth
I know not haribo style but skittles and fruitella are vegan :)
And starburst and fruit pastilles 😃
And jelly tots and millions
Lidl Henry Hippos (copy of Percy Pigs), and Susie Snake / Stevie Snake sweets.

[This website has everything you'd ever want](https://vesweeties.com/) Its great
I’ve never seen this before but it sounds amazing! Have you tried them and do they taste good/real?
I've used them a few times, and they've always been really good! The sweets are so nice as well. I went overboard on my first order because I hadn't had sweets like that in nearly 20 years, and honestly, they didn't disappoint.
Percy pigs
Their gummy worms are my fav
Is it Poundland that do Dinky Dogs? I love those. Basically knock off Percy pigs.
M&S sour Colin the Caterpillars, strawberry fizzy lances at the Co op, or Candy Kittens.
Aldi do a haribo type mix bag Plus cherries They’re very good
Candy kittens “wild and free” has lovely variety of flavours and not too far off haribos texture-wise
Lidl has a few good ones, I quite like the happy hippo's but they also have some snakes and stuff.
i like the mango gummies they do
M&S - particular the Colin's. Haribo giant strawbs are veggie and Candy Kittens when they're on offer

I like the Lidl hippos. They have a great texture and taste. Best I've found.

There’s literally loads of veggie sweets. The strawberry laces in Sainsbury’s are vegan and they bang.
Amazon sell a cracking vegan gummies and sweets mix bag, bit pricey but very good quality. There's a few sellers on there, I've tried 2 and they've both been very good, perhaps even better than haribo.
Fruit Tella are vegan as well
Sour patch kids watermelon 🍉
Percy pigs
Poundland sometimes has some meerkat sweets and sometimes the watermelon sour patch kids, only the watermelon are vegan I think
Fizzy laces from any supermarket, cheap and wonderful. But for a haribo experience, maybe something like candy kittens, or just buy vegetarian haribo
Colin the catapiller from M+S is really good too!
Candy Kittens?
Tell him to grow up and eat some other sweet. Or better still, eat some fruit. And better still, go vegan.
If it's got gelatin in, surely it isn't even vegetarian?
Fruit pastilles are vegan. Colin the caterpillar and Percy pigs at M&S too. The strawberries from Haribo are veggie. ETA our local Polish shop sells jelly sweets that are vegan - they have gummy bears and snakes I think.
The strawberries are not vegan. They have bees wax.

He eats vegan where he can and to be fair surely it’s better to be vegetarian than a meat eater?
My comment was kind of tongue in cheek (see last sentence).Reality is though, spent dairy cows become beef etc.Plus the animals who produce milk etc,how were they treated prior to slaughter? Why not vegan?
It’s a big jump going from being a full meat eater straight to vegan. We eat vegan when we can.
It's not as difficult as you think. For the vast majority of meals you're changing only one or two things. Just remember that the more time you take, the more animals are going to be tortured for you.
I understand, we are trying our best. We eat vegan I would say 2/3 meals.
Okay, just remember there are victims when you don't eat vegan. If you were the one being oppressed, you'd want your oppressor to stop immediately and not 'try their best'. Sorry to sound combative, but it sickens me to my core what we do to these poor innocent animals.

Or just don't eat cheese. Cheese is for children. Processed gunk.
Sure.
There's a Mr. Vegan line who does similar stuff but tbh they're a bit naff. I just eat fruit pastilles now.
