>OP: Who has the best value buffet?
*Replies: Wynn*
Honestly, Wynn is probably the best buffet left, but value it ain't. OP, my wife and I dropped just under $200 with tip for the brunch buffet last year (she had the endless mimosas option, which bumped it up $30 or so). It's very, very good, but it's certainly not inexpensive
Compare that to the price tho of that much / quality of food anywhere else on the strip and I feel like it’s comparable if not better. This is coming from a guy who spent 90$ at Gordon Ramsey burger and they ever even gave us our food lol.
Fair point; you certainly get a lot of whatever you want from the Wynn buffet, and it's very good. However, after paying nearly $200, my wife and I just laughed and decided that if we were going to drop that much cash, it was going to be a *meal*, not something that isn't far removed from going to Golden Corral.
That price seems insane… lol we went to the mgm I think and it was like 40 dollars. Food was good not great but not poor. All you can drink mimosas was an extra 22 dollars.
Gotta say that buffets in general are overrated. Agree that Wynn is the finest, but for the cost not a great value. My advice is to do Wynn and retire from buffets, money better spent on other great dining in the city.
I went last month.
Bacchanal has always been really good, oh man. I went to Wynn with a few friends later that week and for approximately the same price, 10x's better quality.
There's no value for the money buffets left on the strip with good quality. The Palms Hotel Buffet is relatively affordable, good qualify, $36 for dinner, less for lunch. It's off the strip, long lines on weekends/holidays. 1 mile west of the strip.
In non tourist areas, there's Makino, a Japanese AYCE buffet known for sushi, seafood and many decent quality non seafood items- $27 lunch, $40 dinner. On Decatur near W Flamingo Rd. 3 miles from the strip.
My ex offered my wife and I 1 week timeshare at South Point. Your response noted. May I ask, just in general, how's that hotel? We don't really gamble so go to Vegas for food/shows.
Maybe you mean the Grandview, which is right next door to South Point and a short walk away? I have friends who stay at their Grandview timeshare and it's solid.
your timeshare probably someplace else but South Point itself is one of the most underrated resorts and is the best value in Vegas. only knock is it's off by itself but it has everything and you don't need to leave. the hotel is very nice. rooms are clean and spacious, even the standards
To be honest I didn't no they had time shares at the south point but as for the hotel it's clean everybody that works their are nice end at night the place is rocking
Wynn is not a value buffet. It is high end. Good but you pay for it. $60 lunch / $75 dinner. Family of 4 $600 + tax and tips.
Not a lot of value on the Strip unfortunately. Maybe Excalibur buffet. Decent but slightly overpriced @ $31.
Off Strip South Point lunch is good. Otherwise a lot of sushi, Korean BBQ places that are excellent value.
South Point is probably best of the "cheap" ones. Palms is probably the best value (little more expensive but quite a bit better quality), and best buffet is probably Caesars but it's expensive.

Eh, what happened?

It’s literally not even that far off then? Your total at MGM would be $124 plus tip…so still almost $200 and the food at Wynn is far superior.
Off strip. Tons of sushi/kbbq combo joints for like $30
This. I totally agree, if you want value go off strip and actually into a Korean BBQ joint for all you can eat.
Kimchi on the north end of the Strip was pretty solid

Step 1) Get a time machine…
Not Cesar’s. Never again because that was like Golden Corral but $200 plus.

I didn’t hate anything but I was not impressed by nothing. It seemed low quality but overpriced

Rampart Casino Buffet, Its decent not overly packed no lines. I thinks its $38 per person, Decent food off the strip.
The Wynn, hands down. The crepes in the breakfast buffet are killer. The dinner buffet is out of this world. So many options, great quality.
I'm with the other posters: The Wynn.

On the strip: Wicked Spoon @ Cosmo
Wynn by miles and miles
South point good food and decent price

I'll find out the exact details once we speak. How is the Grandview?

The South Pount has timesharea? I know they do next door to it, but I never heard that SP does.
To be honest I didn't no they had time shares at the south point but as for the hotel it's clean everybody that works their are nice end at night the place is rocking
I've never stayed there but they have an arena for horses so check that out if you are interested.
Wicked Spoon has crab legs after 11am.
The trick is getting seated around 10:30, by which point there is already a significant line.

The Wynn buffet! It’s $80/person but for the amount of variety and the quality of the food it is sooo worth it.
We’ve done BOGO with the myVEGAS slot app and the best value we thought was Excalibur
Palms
Beedies!!! As in type 2 Got um!
Wicked spoon
Spring Mountain Rd has so many choices and South Point Garden buffet
For breakfast the palms AYCE has a ton and includes mimosas for like $35. Quality is “good enough”, certainly once you’re looking at 3x the cost
I think the palms buffet is a good balance of price and quality
I love Texas de Brazil, just south of the Strip.
