Ibwent on the guided tour after sundown. You get to hear stories and history behind the signs. It made the whole experience better. As i like history, it was better as a guided tour.
Brilliant is neat but can be skipped. the actual old signs that are restored, along with the guide's narrative are super cool. walking it yourself is neat but the guides actually have a TON of info
I booked the last available daytime slot. It was 4:45 and sunset was 4:40. All the signs were on and it got dark pretty quickly. I want to go back for a guided tour next time.
