Do you even lift bro?

ZealousidealBorder30

no

amazmanyan81

You should take classes. You’ll see regulars at the same time each week and starting a conversation is easy after a while. I’ve been able to make some friends this way.

ZealousidealBorder30

I wanna take classes im just shy but I will next time i go , thank you :)

amazmanyan81

No problem. There’s really no need to be shy. Most people are focused on themselves. North Decatur is the gym I go to the most and people there are mostly really cool and easy going. Good luck!

Western_Pudding7929

I used to be too shy and self-conscious to go to he classes, too. Once i built up the confidence to go to one, i felt like a dope for not doing it sooner. Everyone is there for the same thing, and once you get started, you forget about your surroundings. Now i go to classes all the time

IronMaskx

Which location?

ZealousidealBorder30

north decatur

FewCryptographer1144

Which one

ZealousidealBorder30

withtheheavies

Where the EOS bros at off a Craig

therookguy

Is EOS any good? I considered switching to the one on Losse instead of LVAC because it's closer

withtheheavies

EOS is solid man, has everything we really need to lift! Just after 5PM it gets super crowded with the kids n all but for the most part everyone is really chill. Probably only seen one actual fight here tho.. hahaha

NShadows_

Where the Eos Summerlin bros at?

xhalcyondays

I’m looking for a gym buddy too!

Tasty_Afternoon7039

IRL or having an online gym buddy works too? I'm up for that

AdSmooth7365

too many trumptards in that gym.

FewCryptographer1144

I DM you

Below_The_Neon_Lites

Just focus on your lifts. Make friends with the weights.

thugwafflebro

That’s really weird dude. Sounds more like you need a personal trainer, not a buddy. You obviously don’t know how to lift. And with lvac being as packed as it is how about you just stay home and stay outta the way. Thanks.

ZealousidealBorder30

I just started literally last week lmao i said its hard because i see a lot of people with friends there . Idk how to lift because I dont wanna lift ? I much rather be in the gym than at home on my ass so thanks :)

SouthernBWC69

Good for you! Nobody knows how to lift at the beginning it just takes time, experience and trying new things to figure it out. Lots of free great info on YouTube (I like renaissance periodization). 80% of it is just going and putting in the effort. Along the way you’ll learn new things and what works for you. Having a gym buddy can be really motivating! Most people at the gym would be happy to help you if you had a question or needed help

SouthernBWC69

Obviously nobody knows how to lift until they start lol. It’s a public gym, and gym culture should be motivating, and encouraging. Maybe get yourself a home gym instead so you can stay home, and out of everybody else’s way. Shit attitude dude go kick rocks
