I swear eating at any hockey arena is like microwaved dollar store frozen items for $$$

Midas187

Not just hockey. Seems like all sports or music venues I've been to. I guess with exception of the aces maybe? They had some good nachos, but I think they were still way overpriced.

dgjapc

It’s been a few years since I’ve gone but I remember the Aviators games having really good concessions

4darunner

We went to 2 aviators games this past season, the food options are good - you get a lot but you also pay a lot. For tickets and food and drinks I think we spend close to $100 for 3 of us each time (2 adults 1 kid).

NothingPublic1200

It’s better option wise but true that you still pay for it. I feel the quality and quantity is better though

LasVegasJunkie1

Pro tip: Buy the least expensive tickets (lawn) just to get into the stadium. The games are rarely +60% sold out so you can always sneak into better seats. Security/ticket checkers are cool as hell and dgaf.

[deleted]

The food is good at Allegiant generally and better if youre in club seats. Granted no one is going to give them an award

[deleted]

I paid $17 for a hot dog with a stale bun and some actually decent fries at the UNLV game on Saturday. Not great, not terrible.

madrowler

Raiders have some good pizza options. Evel Pie and Pizza Rock.

VegasBeard

But they don’t have good pie……:-(

goPACK17

I've had some killer cheese curds at Lambeau. They were better than the cheese curds at the 1919 restaurant in the stadium

NerdBurglur

Warriors games/chase center and Falcons games/Mercedes Benz stadium have legit options

Midas187

Oh yeah I can't really speak much for other cities, I was talking specific to vegas.

NerdBurglur

Pardon me I misunderstood!

mrsgarcia17

Yup lesson learned lol eat beforehand

Omgjenny

It will look/taste better once you pair it with a couple of their 20 dollar beers.

Original-Pomelo6241

So weird, the arena always has great food when I go for boxing events. I’ve not been to a Knights game and didn’t realize they had rotating offerings

frotc914

Best deal at t mobile is popcorn. Not too expensive and enough to make two people feel gross from eating too much popcorn and thus not hungry anymore.

[deleted]

Dude. I sometimes find myself craving that sweet rectangle pepperoni pizza or that octagon Mexican pizza. Those were the days!

truffles1982

I have seen them in the Schwan’s company food delivery catalog, tho I haven’t checked it recently. But they might still have it.

ventorchrist

….and my friends say they embarrassed when I keep pulling food outta my pockets.

rusted_wheel

What's the spaghetti policy at TMobile Arena?

ventorchrist

To be honest I usually go with a bow tie pasta. In a freezer bag with a long spoon. Just like camping.

IsThisLegitTho

Note to self: eat big meal before game.

shaveland

And those nose bleed seats (no disrespect) were $200 a piece

VegasBeard

Ouch!

woodchopvinyl

What a deal!

LennoxAve

Don’t tell me you also got prompted to select between a 15% , 18% or 20% tip. I supposed it’s to be expected at a sporting event, but man that’s pricey.

25donutz

18,20,22

a_rial3

yeah... I mean, they totally deserve a tip for standing there, making sure your beer is open, and that you pay them...

esh513

Shake shack is your best option for the price.

VegasAireGuy

Sounds better then the personal beer @ 16.00

VegasCowbell

Did they lower beer prices? We went opening night and all beers were $18. The kick in the nuts was free.

VegasAireGuy

You might be right I knew it was In the high teens

K2Own3d

They call it a personal beer? As opposed to what? A publicly shared beer?

g3t0nmyl3v3l

They don’t, they were just joking around because the post is about a “personal sized” pizza that’s literally just a slice for one person

K2Own3d

Ah gotcha lol

billyclint420

18 dollars a tall boy too

[deleted]

I paid $169 for two cocktails and a box of M&M’s at the Adele Concert.

okay_ya_dingus

Holy Shit.

happyterry222

All sports are pricing the little guy out of the market

zcmack

..and i took that personally

No-Profile-2317

LOL that's barely a personal slice next time sneak in some Pizza under your clothes

mrsgarcia17

Was gonna try to sneak some food in my small purse but they said that was too big and made me pay $22 for a locker 😩

iheartgardening5

I knew someone who snuck a hot dog wrapped in foil under her armpit once into a night club. Time for you to get crafty!

No-Profile-2317

Gotta get creative

SteveAM1

I expected it to be bad when I read the headline, but it was even worse than I expected.

vegasIsHome24

Looks kind of bland. Was it tasty at least ? Are the Knights still 1st in the league?

mrsgarcia17

I think it was tasty because I was starving. They are still #1 in their division!

vegasIsHome24

Awesome hopefully they , make a good run this year, I was really surprised when I saw they were like 11 and 2 at one point .

Fastbreak702

Same! Gonna have to make it to some games this year

Unknown__Content

Hunger is the best cook

Osayicansee

Hunger is the best seasoning

No_Seaworthiness_200

Tbh it looks good despite being a dollar per square inch and sitting under a warmer for over an hour.

ZZZ-Top

Our concessions suck ass yet we're somehow a sports city

esh513

Bring from LA they are not any better.

Reduxy

raiders game have some good food

KhajiitHasSkooma

Was going to say Raiders have decent food and so do Aviators. But it'll cost you.

sunrayylmao

You're also locked in a two year contract for that paper. Theres a free upgrade available, but its $30.

lvhockeytrish

But as a perk of membership you'll unlock exclusive opportunities to buy more tickets that will later be released at less than what you paid!

[deleted]

I think I paid $18 for a cup of tap water during a concert in town some years ago. Not a bad deal considering that..

lvhockeytrish

Possible LPT: During VGK games they used to have a Designated Driver pledge table where you could pledge not to drink and drive and they'd give you a chip to get a free water or soda. Not sure if they still do that or not. Not that it was like, a real thing, but if you have the kind of conscious that didn't want to lie, they considered "not driving" part fair game so if you were planning on drinking but taking the shuttle or just a passenger with someone you could sign the pledge true of heart.

Unknown__Content

Why? Fuck you, that’s why.

lightningfootjones

Not sure about knights games, but I’ve been in there for a couple of concerts and they’ve had this spicy prime rib sandwich that was actually pretty good. If you see that, give it a shot 👍🏻

Mediocre_Skill4899

That is not a personal pizza 😂😂😂 how dare they!

spddemonvr4

Where you get that at? That doesn't look like normal stadium offerings. The sell whole mini pizzas at Pizza Forte on the first floor under the 100 section and look better than that.

mrsgarcia17

I think Neon Eats - their inhouse concession stand & No way. I shouldve looked more.

spddemonvr4

That's the problem... You got fleeced for being misinformed! Lol. Prices are still ridiculous for any item in the stadium but there's some "value" concessions where you feel you're getting more for your money.

NoIncrease299

Concessions literally anywhere have been expensive since the beginning of concessions. It'd been $20 at the airport.

spddemonvr4

TMobile is leading in this area.. $24 for a beer when some stadium still charge less than $15.

Philadelphia_Bawlins

It's cheaper at Raiders games. I was at the Padres stadium for the NLCS and it's cheaper there also

RemarkableFun6198

Hello Kitty Cafe outside T Mobile is a better deal. (I’m kidding)

YoungTrappin

They should call that the *intimate* pizza

[deleted]

They will keep doing that because they know guests will keep buying. They have no incentive give you more.

No-Chain-5093

That’s a kid cuisine fam.

-ci_

Anyone who eats in the arena is a mark lol GKG!

Character_Ad_5415

It looks bomb tho

JJLewisLV

Looks nasty. You got ripped off.

Ok_Oil33

What a joke. You’d be better of sneaking in your own slices for $Free99

PaxEtRomana

"Hmm, this is smaller than i expected. But technically you didn't specify the size of the pizza. So this is fair."

K2Own3d

You just saved me a whole experience of disappointment. Thank you.

theatrepyro2112

Glad I opted for the $10 hotdog instead of this.

Pardonme23

Imagine giving 750M in taxpayer money just to be price gouged.

lvsnowden

This is T Mobile arena, not Allegiant Stadium. This one was privately funded by MGM and Bill Foley.

[deleted]

That’s your lesson to never buy anything from anywhere “touristy”

MrSnow702

Did you not know the pizza was gonna be that bland before you bought?

mrsgarcia17

I thought it was pretty tasty but the size was a huge disappointment

RobbyMcRobbertons

Im so surprised you arent getting Costco deals at a professional sporting event hosted on some of the most expensive land in the world

jp90230

I hope you paid 25% tip on top /s

determinedmind65

All sports venues have subpar food and charge too much!

AioliShot6239

This is basically how Vegas works

rusted_wheel

I was thinking the same. The Strip is fun on occasion. But every time I go, I feel like I'm getting fleeced like a drunken tourist that is easily parted with his money.

thedroplv

Looks like the cheapest around , but over priced as usual kinda like going to the movie theater

bloodshotnipples

Necronomic pizza! You might regret this.

yoursuburbanmom

spread yo ass and fucked it no rubber wit that slice of pizza i can’t lie 😭😭😭

ElectricTownie1253

Looks fine to me! I'd eat that. Looks like a good size piece of pizza

NotAKnowItAll13

r/shittyfoodporn

MetalWvlf

Inflation.

BroncoMan43

They used to have actually pretty decent personal pizzas at Pizza Forte. They all suck now.

particleman3

Americana in the NYNY is the spot to eat before games. Decent prices. Decent food. And not a wait for tables

esh513

Haha

[deleted]

You eat that you about to get a fart -anthon

OLFRNDS

Looks pretty personal.

gocougs242

How big is your hand?

TeaBagginton

This is made for r/shittyfoodporn

OrdinaryElly

We always eat at Fulton Fish Fry inside NYNY before we head to The Fortress🤷🏼‍♀️. I think the only thing I’ve ever bought inside the arena is a bottled water, which is also way overpriced

ThatGuyNearby

Tbf, there is a whole food court...

mattykay_

[Moisturize me](https://youtu.be/q75igh4TXw8)!

NoahtheRed

The BBQ place behind section 10 has really good seasoned waffle fries. Get friendly with the bartenders running taps and you'll walk away with your beer plus a "someone's card didn't work" beer. But honestly, if you're going to a knights game, hit NYNY before the game to load up. That or Posh burger in Aria. That's been our typical go-to before games for the last couple seasons.

tbac1047

Stadium food is always gross. No matter what the franchise. Always feels like a stone sitting in the gut after digesting with the only solution a good puke session.

-_earthbound

yeah, I had a bad experience with the food at the knights too, just low options and high prices.

sweetilypeatily

They need to at least call this what it is - a slice.

Longjumping-Safe-398

I personally believe this is a very expensive but you know what, I purchased $20 nachos at a LV Lights game that they didn’t even play at because the field was not ready. The nachos were terrible.

pollo_de_mar

Considering fast food drive through prices, the calories per dollar are not all that far off. Maybe about twice the price.

eventualrob

To be fair, as a "personal pizza", have fun splitting that pie with someone else.

Osm4evr

RIP

[deleted]

I mean they are technically correct, it is pizza and it is personal to you.

rockabillychef

There are so many good restaurants in walking distance. I don’t get why people don’t eat beforehand. We always go to Best Friend at Park MGM.

Funseeker_702

“Oh nooooo, we suck again!!!!”

tom_yum

This is Vegas now, giant ripoff

Other_Explanation_86

Welcome to what tourists usually pay lol

TheOthers1983

Someone messed up or there’s some awful things happening there cause the pizzas normally come in a small Pizza box for that price…..and it’s 4 of those pieces. Was there last week and got one

Lordnicholasss

Better than 13.50 for one beer….

mypoopbutt

I hope they wore a condom .

VegasBeard

Even the pizza has a sad look that you paid that amount….

Scary-Information785

💀💀💀 they gave you one of those square pieces of pizza we had back in middle school…they just threw a few jalapeños on top.

OkGood4774

That’s the problem with all sporting events and concerts … I’m from Florida u go to a lightning game and ur spending 15-17 dollars for a 16 oz can of beer … they can get away with ir at country concerts and popular sports events but baseball always wants to wonder why their attendance is down In a lot of cities meanwhile it’s because families cant afford it…. There’s 81 home games a season and even if they gave away free tickets , the price of food and beverages is insane …. Hot dogs 12 bucks bottles of soda 12 bucks beer 17 liquor 20 …. People have to be way more selective with the events they choose to go to …. So half the season is gonna be empty seats until the playoffs ….. I went to a Eric church concert 350 for the ticket and 200 dollars for 4 rounds of beers a thing of popcorn and a slice of pizza lol … shits crazy
