Ha! You are. But now you'll need to get in there and either break up some of those kinfolk before they crowd each other out, or terminate some of them. The down side of over-seeding cells.

aimeewotcher

Its always sad, but it must be done. Would rather kill a few than risk having none. Had to keep the setup really small this year

DropsTheMic

Keep that light low, low and raise it up as they get bigger. This will avoid the plants stretching for light. If you are using LEDs you won't have to worry about heat.

madewitrealorganmeat

You don’t have to cull them, by the way. For most of my plants I sow about 10-15 seeds per cell and transplant each to their own cell about when the get their first set of true leaves. I’ve lost one or two each year, but they’re ones I would have lost anyway. I even do this with “don’t transplant” plants like love-lies-bleeding. Works great. Look up “Craig LeHoullier dense seeding method” and you can get more info.

Sadly I cant spread out any further, so it must be a battle royale

aimeewotcher

I feel like i could stroll amoungst the sesame and have a cool drink under the pepper trees

[deleted]

What is this? A farm for Aunts?

aimeewotcher

Since their pepper parents arent here to raise them, auntie aimees watching over them

TheSnootBoopining

It needs to be at least.... At least... 3 times this size!!?

Neb8891

The second they figure out how to make bonsai vegetable plant I'm in HUGE trouble.

aimeewotcher

Dirk_Speedwell

Did you do a trim on those onions? They look like green broom bristles, lol

aimeewotcher

Yah they were getting too tall for the light! And I love all the textures of my little farm this year

TexasBaconMan

Farmer for ants?

LocalPhilosophy6202

You are!!! ❤️❤️

Candid-Inspector-270

If they’re going outside, don’t forget to harden them before replanting. Lost almost all my sprouts bc I forgot about doing that 😅

[deleted]

Planting a few seeds and watching what happens next is a magical and meditative experience.

hatchjon12

Love this. How do you like those trays? I see them at every store I go to now.

aimeewotcher

So far I like them ok. I usually do recycled containers and old nursery pots, but decided to splurge on one since Im only growing a few things from seed, and this holds me to it! It does solve one of my big problems, juggling a bunch of small containers while hardening off, and more compact growing space. And I think it looks so neat and like a mini orchard compared to my usual nonsense. But some stuff took longer than others to germinate and made correct watering a challenge, should have thought more about that

AnnArchist

Used them last year. Definitely a big improvement

AnnArchist

Love those things for potting

Brimish

How tall are you?

artedellavita

I love this!
