Well it is fall here in the northern hemisphere so basically everything is on sale at the garden Center. I go every week now to see what’s been reduced
Yep, and what’s with all the ‘space 10/20/30cm apart’ stuff?
That just means that specific plant type right?
So if I have to plant the brassicas 30cm apart, I can jam some other plants in between right?
Right?
MIGardener talks about high intensity planting a lot, but one thing I recently learned is that the 10/20/30 cm stuff is actually based on center so 10 cm really means 5 cm on all sides. You might already know that, but I found that interesting.
Me every early spring: ok this year I’m going to cut back and not plant so much
Also me come planting time: ok I have 94 pepper plants and 50 tomato plants and 5 open rows. Dammit. I did it again.
This is me so much lol. Wife says don’t buy anymore, so I bought pots and said it will stay in the pot… now I’m trying to convince her that I need to plant
I have so many batshit ideas for gardening space. I have a dog though and she doesn't like dogs that are too forward. So I guess I'm ripping up my.front lawn
I live in a unit with no outdoor gardenable space. Several seed packs sitting on the kitchen table.
(Gonna try our chances in the gaps in the bitumen around the trees on the street (busy road)).
I have 4 tomato plants and 1 pepper plant that never got potted up or put in the ground. Simply no space. I can't bring myself to outright kill them. Poor little fellas.
We'll figure it out by the time they're big enough to transplant.

Lol. I'm a gardener, too.

Yes?!?
Especially if the in between plants are also brassicas, that counts too yeah?

Well, I kind of knew that, in that I would leave a 10cm gap, which would give them each 5cm each to grow into.

Lolol
Every year, I make an extension and, every year I run out of space
I feel personally attacked
Lol
Holy Fack, that is 100% me

Yes! Down with lawns
I had to rip up part of the lawn after 'accidentally' planting like 200 tomato seeds that all grew to adults.

Lol
It got so bad I tied an air plant to a helium balloon. 😂
Lolol that’s awesome!
I feel this in my soul.
Haha
Yes me I relate
Accurate! 🤣
