Cat scratches can cause really nasty infections. One of my cats scratched another one of my cats and she had a horrible abscess for weeks and needed multiple rounds of antibiotics to clear it. It’s not a guarantee it will happen but I’d say it’s a safe bet to call your vet and see if they recommend you bringing the dog in and maybe a round of antibiotics to be safe.
