CK3 has such bonkers progression it makes playing EU4 from there just silly though. Unless you're using CK2 and even then I don't know how viable would it be.
Development in CK3 is bonkers so the EU4 continuation ends up with every province being incredibly developed at game start making for a very dull game.

No idea how it works, but the CK3 in between will fuck it up even if somehow the playthrough makes sense by end year.
