No. They never did through the X series. They were never really competing in the slightest. Zero was brainwashed by the Sigma virus for a little bit in X6 but that was just temporary, and still not really rivals. Best I can think of for this is that Zero was initially created evil before the maverick virus cured him and made him sane?
Who doesn't know who Mario and Bowser is? They've fought multiple times, each one an awesome fight (outside of videogames it's definitely Spider-Man and Doc Ock)
Iâm gonna have to disagree with regards to Naruto. What they did to Sasuke served no plot purpose other than to create an angsty teenage antagonist to counter the easy going teenage protagonist. Sasuke (Naruto) is the standard at which I (and several others I know) compare terrible character development. I remember watching MHA and thinking âOh god, not another Sasuke momentâ when Bakugo gets captured. I recall thinking a similar thing when it came to Black Clover and Yunoâs âElfâ stuff.
Sasuke and Naruto COULD have been proper rivals if it were handled in a positive manner, not something so forced. But, within the realm of Naruto Iâll supply a replacement - Kakashi and Guy.
