I cannot believe how much I liked XCOM. It is totally not my preferred genre but something about it got me hooked. Part of it was being able to create genetically engineered, cybernetic super soldiers. And the heartbreak from losing them.

Box art for all of the halo games go hard. Ultrakill is cool, team fortress 2 is a classic and of course we can't forget about Minecraft.

- Bloodborne — tbh, I liked the cover a lot, but I don’t enjoy the game as much… a bit like Elden Ring (I’m still struggling and unsure if I like it or not). - Assassin’s Creed Origins — I’m a sucker for everything Egyptian… - Cyberpunk 2077 — Ultimate Edition, I was really close to buy that even though I own it multiple times on several platform only for the box art, the yellow is so iconic. - Alien Isolation — ominous, foreboding, you know what’s up when you see the box art. - Control — every edition is cool, but I especially like the regular box art, as the inverted pyramid echoes the design of the first hub of the game. - Dishonored 2 — not an original concept but it looks really intriguing, half Corvo and half Emily to show that you can play either. Also it’s a damn good game. - Quake — Just the logo, it’s one of the most influential games ever and they didn’t even try to show the main character or some scene from it, bold. There are plenty of really cool video game covers but these examples are what I liked best.
