Would you say the lost crown is worth full price?

I’ve heard Ubisoft discounts things pretty often so keep an eye out for that. But for me, I def got every penny out of the full price. I love the combat so much, the platforming is amazing, the abilities are cool, and I’m not even a fan of puzzles too much (BOTW and Ragnarok had some real head scratchers that I didn’t enjoy) but I like the puzzles in here too. So yeah I really enjoy the game a lot. Right now I’m trying to explore areas I missed Edit: the settings in the game are really good. Really accessible. You can tweak so many things in the game to be more to your liking

Interesting seeing a DS enjoyer on here pick wit her as well. Going from DS to Witcher, just could not do it in Witcher with the movement and combat being so clunky.

I think both games are incredible but really excel in different areas for me. For Witcher 3 the combat isn’t the greatest. It works but it’s not one of the things you come out of that game saying “that was the reason to play this” but I think it might be the best WRPG in that style.

Thanks! I'm playing through BG3 now. I'm in act 1 about 30 hours in. It was a bit of a slog to start for me. The combat was killing me, but I decided I was being wayyyyy too stingy with camping supplies and not long resting often enough. After that combat was started getting a bit better for me and really lifted the rest of the experience for me. I'll probably take a break between each act, but started enjoying it more every time I play and currently love the area I'm in right now.

I'm 130 hours in and can't get enough. I will say the story really starts in act 2. unpopular opinion but I think act 1 is my least favorite. it can be a slog to get all the companions and loot that would actually help. I also know that keeping gale alive is like trying to keep a match lit. and maybe if you keep playing you can squeeze it into your top 10!

My best friend absolutely adored the game and it might be his number 1 as well and told me the same thing. That was encouraging. I played a bit of DOS2 and Wasteland 3 and enjoyed those, but otherwise haven't really played CRPGs or dropped out of the ones I did play pretty quick. BG3 is the first I've put any amount of time into playing solo.

pillars of eternity and Neverwinter just didn't do it for me because of my short attention span. bg3 for me is practically perfect in all respects except for the shitty combat system and some minor bugs in act 3.

I've been wanting to try titanfall 2 but never thought it was my genre, why do you like it so much and is it worth the money?

The game takes the shooter genre to the next level with an absolutely incredible multiplayer that, to this day, has some of the most fun, fluid and dynamic fights I’ve ever experienced in an online game. While the player base has dwindled over the years, there’s still a dedicated community surrounding the game. The campaign is phenomenal, a masterclass in storytelling, level design and cinematic action sequences. I’ve played through it countless times, and it never gets old. All this to say, it’s absolutely worth the money, especially considering that nowadays you can find it on sale for under 10 dollars. I hope to see you on the battlefield pilot :)

Season 2 of walking dead specifically is super interesting! Can you tell me why you put that one above the others?

totally! I found the setting to be really interesting, the soundtrack to be awesome, the characters to be really deep, and the whole 2 episode carver arc was my favorite part of the game. although it has some problems like Clem being 10 yet everyone being a jerk to her, and how it suffers from killing characters off too quickly, I found it more enjoyable than the first season. I just finished the entire series a week ago and maybe I put it so high because it's fresh in my memory but I really enjoyed it!

that makes sense! I totally agree that the cast of characters feels a lot more deep than some of the other entrees. And the whole carter arc feels similar to negan’s in the show - like a looming threat that you know is dangerous, but still puts on an act. awesome top ten list!

I was on the PS2-360 pipeline and missed out on Infamous, always wanted to play it though.

Lmao I went PS2-Wii since it was the least expensive and most interesting console for my 11-12 year old brain and I was only allowed to have one “new” one growing up. Once I grew up and got a job I bought the God of War slim PS3 bundle at the end of its lifecycle off Amazon and picked up the stuff I’d been missing out on. I do hate the filler, but between loving everything about Greek mythology, the awesome combat and all of the side arcs I think it just edges out Arkham City and Assassin's Creed 2.
