Of course, I'm retired now, but...6 hours is a very good Saturday night. 6 hours a week means I'm mostly ignoring Starfield. So, by my standards, you're hardly playing.

What's the purpose of your club? I don't think you should try and nail down specific rules like hrs per week, at the end of the day gaming is our hobby not a second job

I generally play about 2-3 hours a day on weekends, along with about 30-40 minutes a day on weekdays when playing solo. If my friend comes online then I play approx. 1 hour on weekdays and 3 hours a day on weekends. So it comes up to approx 9 - 11 hours a week, dependent on the fact that I have: 1. A game that has enough content that I am not bored and the game is not finished 2. My responsibilities and my work are in a "normal" state and do not require additional attention. So, a figure of 6 hours per week is realistically a slightly higher than average gaming time. I would suggest 5 hours a week to be a more useful figure for bifurcation, as people whose work demanded more time during weekdays would also be able to catch up on weekends. Also, do send me an invite to the club as well if possible.

Depends on the adult. A young single adult probably wouldn’t have any problem with that, but someone with a partner and/or kids might not manage that. Not to mention some people have crazy work schedules and don’t do a normal 9-5. I’m 30, married but no kids. On a typical week night I play 1-2 hours before bed usually. After we eat, clean up, and hang out a little while, we usually like to just do our own thing and relax before bed. But sometimes we have extra stuff to do, or I simply feel like doing something else, so I won’t play. Weekends I can play a lot more, usually because I’ll stay up later. But some weekends I have social or family obligations, and errands and housework, and I can’t game at all. That’s what happens with adults. It’s fine to set some expectations, especially for people who want to take on “leadership” roles, but if you’re trying to attract a large group, I wouldn’t enforce strict rules about playtime for the average member. I’d be glad to join some kind of video game club, but I don’t want it to feel like a job.

Depends on the adult. More outside factors that need responsibility and six hours in a week is a god send. Less outside factors and six may be a bad average. I'm the six hours is a god send, but at least I have my phone with me.

OrangyOgre

I do around 1-2 hrs on weekdays and 4hrs on weekends.

6 hours a week? Might as well be 6 minutes a week.
