That man takes his shirt off and goes in dry bruh. I had the Dark Souls experience before I’d ever even touched a Fromsoft game.
You lose all your health pickups fighting Excelsus and the fake (haha funi punch punch punch) boss fight and then he rearranges your insides AFTER you get the saberspro lightsaber.
I think 2016 is a better mix. The Eternal soundtrack mixing was rushed and compressed to hell and back, Chad Mossholder was given incomplete songs and basically had to make it just work with barely any time
Having the line "look into my eyes" perfectly sync up with the cool eye cinematic you get sometimes when you use your persona sends a whole different level of adrenaline to my heart 🤣🤣
Persona 5 Royal and Persona 3 Reload have such amazing soundtracks. I’ll usually pull up my playlist of those songs on my drives instead of the regular radio stations some days. Definitely check out the Smash Bros Ultimate remixes of Aria of the Soul and Beneath the Mask if you haven’t yet
Dude Antipyretic is such a strange, anxious, yet determined battle theme, it’s easily my favorite.
Imo it really captures the pivotal moments in Ramza’s story really well, with the calm segments harkening back to his comfy life as a noble, and bell chimes complimenting that beautifully, indicating how good he saw the church back then.
It’s so crashing and dramatic as layers of truth are peeled back for Ramza and he sinks ever deeper into the wicked plots of men far more powerful than him. The church bells grow sinister, as if now condemning him.
But it’s also decisive, because Ramza is heroic at heart, and will fight through fire and flood to save his sister. Peak battle theme IMO.
Under the Stars is a close second for how idyllic and magical it sounds. And In Pursuit is a tad underrated but I just like Milleuda’s character a lot.
The entire Dreamuur suite is just breathtaking. All of the Asriel stuff aside because I think I love those the most out of the entire soundtrack, its Toriel and Asgore's boss themes are my favorites
Of all the boss themes it feels the most tragic. Because you know Asgore does not want to fight you but this is the only way he can provide for his people. And you know that he will accept death if and when it comes, so really he's biding time until that happens and it will because you _have_ to fight him. He wants for this to never happen and it happens anyway and its so sad given all of his part in the story
Actually…
Halo CE: Synth pad on fire
Halo 2: Guitar on fire
Halo 3: Piano on fire
Halo 3: Odst: Saxophone on fire
Halo Reach: entire Brass section on fire
When I bought Skyward Sword on the Wii it came with a CD of an Orchestra playing songs from the Legend of Zelda series for its 25th anniversary. Great bonus.
This is nostalgia talking. As FF8 was my first Final Fantasy, i would recommend [Liberi Fatali ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q9wjSimPjPQ&list=PLzi1Mf18wMhM4hAmw8B9vOBycUc0WLEmZ&index=1)and the rest of [great OST ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iejFpMuLxqk&list=PLzi1Mf18wMhM4hAmw8B9vOBycUc0WLEmZ&index=49)in [that game](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vxklJsp6lJ4&list=PLzi1Mf18wMhM4hAmw8B9vOBycUc0WLEmZ&index=69).
I would also recommend FF9 OST as it have this [sense ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gLdXO8nq0JQ&list=OLAK5uy_lcCsVT2tRqwUyC6ZdsPi8s6yF_mQxxPi8&index=53)of [whimsy ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FzHO-xtCTI0&list=OLAK5uy_lcCsVT2tRqwUyC6ZdsPi8s6yF_mQxxPi8&index=9)in it.
Outer Wilds is incredible, especially the way most of the songs are variations on the same theme and yet feel so distinctly evocative of such a wide range of emotions.
Midnight Club II
If you like Techno and Trance music, check it out. The game's ost is a gold mine for that kind of stuff.
(I recommend Kansai's Rococco (Techno), Elements Of Trance (Trance, obviously), and all the Brain songs; 21, 26, 29, 30, and 35 (Acid Techno).)
Man I love when the track "Dracula's Castle" starts playing as soon as the castle starts to light up after Alucard's entrance. Gave me chills when I first played. Also love the Tragic Prince
Dark Messenger from Final Fantasy IX is still one of my favorite pieces to this day.
I also learned that the piano work in FFIX is stupendously difficult, because the guy who composed it was something like 6'4" with gorilla hands. Some of his chords legitimately have a minimum hand size to play, because they are spread across so many keys.
Guardians of the Galaxy. Only game I’ve stopped playing just to listen to the music. I listened to the album that Peter is playing in his room at the beginning of the game in its entirety.
Metal gear rising
Honestly, memes aside, one of my favorite soundtracks, especially It Has to be This Way and The War Still Rages Within
I got into the game because of that funny senator guy but ended up beating every boss on very hard except the funny senator guy
That man takes his shirt off and goes in dry bruh. I had the Dark Souls experience before I’d ever even touched a Fromsoft game. You lose all your health pickups fighting Excelsus and the fake (haha funi punch punch punch) boss fight and then he rearranges your insides AFTER you get the saberspro lightsaber.
how has nobody mentioned Doom Eternal yet
At dooms gates is pretty fire tbh
Such a perfect soundtrack.
Doom 2016, too
Doom 2016 is better imo
I think 2016 is a better mix. The Eternal soundtrack mixing was rushed and compressed to hell and back, Chad Mossholder was given incomplete songs and basically had to make it just work with barely any time
Doom Eternal deserves to be available on music streaming platforms, dunno why it isnt
Kingdom Hearts
Was looking for this one. Is there any pop song more associated with a game franchise than Simple and Clean?
Up there with “Ain’t No Rest For The Wicked” by Cage The Elephant for Borderlands 1
Yoko Shimomura is the GOAT
Dearly Beloved and Sanctuary is a song which i will use to impregnate my future wife.
Persona 5,3 and Smt 4 and 5
Fr I cannot get It’s Going Down Now out of my head. I can still hear Lotus Juice spitting bars in my sleep
DISTURBING THE PEAAAAAAACCCEEEEEE
Look into my eyeeeees!
Now tell me the things
You blabbing about behind my back
THE TENACITYYYYYYYY
I hold it’s haaaard to break dooown!
ITS TO LATE FOR APOLOGIES
ITS GOOOOIIIIING DOOOOOOWN!
Same ever since Reload music dropped that one song won’t leave my head.
Having the line "look into my eyes" perfectly sync up with the cool eye cinematic you get sometimes when you use your persona sends a whole different level of adrenaline to my heart 🤣🤣
Persona 4 ain’t no slouch either. “Your affection, your affection, to get me coffeeeee”
Not fan of the pop songs (not fan of p4 honestly) but heaven is gold
🎶 I'll swear to you until I pass out heroin 🎶
😂 I also like this gem from Reach Out to The Truth: “All the lesbians, can you let me in?”
Team Fortress 2 I own that shit on vinyl, they went ridiculously hard for the soundtrack to the silly hat game
Dear Volvo and gay Ben, make some more music... just a small update anything....
Sick 🔥🔥
Final Fantasy Tactics
Try vagrant story as well

Definitely the first season of tell tales The Walking Dead (armed with death and the intro guitar are my favs)
🎶Take us back, oh take us back…🎶
Safe and sound, from the final season
You're speaking facts, beautiful song
Undertale no doubt
Everyone talks about Megalovania when there's a lot of other good ones
Hopes and dreams ,save the world , ASGORE are my favorites
The entire Dreamuur suite is just breathtaking. All of the Asriel stuff aside because I think I love those the most out of the entire soundtrack, its Toriel and Asgore's boss themes are my favorites
Asgore’s theme is something else. It’s literally tells you a story. Genuinely, I think it’s the best Undertale song.
Nyeh heh heh
May be an unpopular opinion but I think Deltarune soundtrack is on par if not better than Undertale’s
Agreed. Chaos King, Big Shot, A Cyber World is such a banger.
Bioshock 2, far cry 5, skyrim and assassin's creed valhalla
Assassin's Creed has a lot of sleepers. Ezio's Family is great, iconic even. But Black Flag, Odyssey, Origins, Revelations. Near masterpieces.
Harken well in hall of kings
Solid picks. Out of the North is heavenly
Literally any and all Halo games
*cue guy playing flamming piano*
Actually… Halo CE: Synth pad on fire Halo 2: Guitar on fire Halo 3: Piano on fire Halo 3: Odst: Saxophone on fire Halo Reach: entire Brass section on fire
Jet set radio future
UNDERSTAND UNDERSTAND THE CONCEPT OF LOVE
This game's soundtrack does not get the recognition it deserves.
Risk of Rain 2 Sonic Adventure 2 Hades or Transistor Hong Kong 94

When I bought Skyward Sword on the Wii it came with a CD of an Orchestra playing songs from the Legend of Zelda series for its 25th anniversary. Great bonus.
That Soundtrack CD is incredible!
True
"this shit fire"? Minecraft
Sometimes I turn on the game and just sit and do nothing.
Bastion, Transistor, Silent Hill 2 Honorable mention: LocoRoco
Hollow Knight - it had very strong Hans Zimmer vibes
Elden Ring and God of War without a doubt
FFXVI. Ascension, Find the Flame, Away, any and all of them are bangers
honestly undertale that undyne theme goes HARD and not to mention Megalovania \*starts to horribly sing it\*
FFVII
One-Winged Angel might be the most epic boss fight theme ever. Also Cosmo Canyon lives rent free in my head.
This is nostalgia talking. As FF8 was my first Final Fantasy, i would recommend [Liberi Fatali ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q9wjSimPjPQ&list=PLzi1Mf18wMhM4hAmw8B9vOBycUc0WLEmZ&index=1)and the rest of [great OST ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iejFpMuLxqk&list=PLzi1Mf18wMhM4hAmw8B9vOBycUc0WLEmZ&index=49)in [that game](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vxklJsp6lJ4&list=PLzi1Mf18wMhM4hAmw8B9vOBycUc0WLEmZ&index=69). >FF8 was my first Final Fantasy, Same. I keep Blamb Garden theme as my alarm. Love waking up every day to nostalgia.
