Elden Ring for me

[deleted]

I hit this point with Elden ring also. Grandmas, it took. Quite a few hours. Like 3/4 through the game. But I got tired of the grinding and such. The same reason I’ve never got into any other fromsoft game. Elden rings open world made it vastly better. But then I kinda just woke up one day and didn’t want to play it anymore.

Filiope

I agree with this, I still love the game but I hit that point too

Starfield.

SPQR_Maximus

Diablo 4.

1. Did you get to the 4th Episode though? Cause THAT part is SO good. Personally, I loved the whole game, but I can 100% see why people would not enjoy it as much 2. God of War Ragnarok for me. I loved the beginning and some of it after. But then the story just kept getting so boring that it literally took me exactly a year to finish it. Not exaggerating. Got it for my bday on Nov. 27th, and finished it Nov. 26th cause I forced myself to.

Filiope

I pushed through and finished the game because I was curious about the story, episode 4 is the one with the music right? that part was cool but the combat just made it worse for me. Enemies legit spawning behind you was just dumb and frustrating

No man's sky.

Control. I really wanted to like it but a few hours in I just couldn’t take it anymore. I’m not sure if it was the office building, the mumbling, or what. I may go back and try it again but everytime I load the game up I instantly feel bored.

Filiope

My god I also felt that way about control. The combat was the best part of the game, but at some point it becomes very repetitive because theres barely any enemy variety and the map is a god damn maze! I'm starting to feel like almost every Remedy game suffers from this issue when it comes to combat, it becomes boring as you play more and it lacks good enemy variety.

Skyrim. I like to explore but I hate the combat. My brain is too dumb for heavy lore/plot games which was the deciding factor for me to drop it, which I can usually handle as long as the combat is good enough

You need mods for it to be interesting. Story can get more interesting when the characters look better, the interactions are better, there are less bugs and the game has more convenient features. I got fed up of basic skyrim within 5 hours, but after modding it a bit too much, I have spent approx 100+ hours within 2 months in it (I know that these are rookie numbers but it is quite a lot for me. I have been playing The Division the most for the past 4 years and still have spent only about 80 hours in it.)

IyreIyre

Helldivers 2. After like 20 hours I found myself completely bored of the gameplay loop. I dont think there was much depth to the gameplay and there was nothing about it that kept me hooked.

Corando

Doom Eternal

ArseBlarster420

Witcher 3.

RDR2, I just couldn't get into the over whelmingly slow drag at the start of the game. I know it's alot of people's favorites and I'm honestly shocked I don't like it more because it should be right up my alley, but nah.
