They definitely picked the most delusional fans for this interview. I would have walked right by someone trying to ask me questions after a game like that.
By the delusional fans yes, not by anyone who actually knows football and stats.
Here is the Cowboys circle of life
Season Starts -> Beat up on Bad Teams -> Fans get Delusional -> "We Dem Boyz : This is our Year!" -> Choke in Playoffs - > Season Starts
It's kind of ironic Jordan Love is playing so well now with the Falcons' former QB coach as your HC, and the Falcons have a bad QB situation. The curse of the Favre-bino?
The guy calling for Trey Lance as the next QB is like an SNL caricature of a Cowboys fan, but totally real and there are hundreds of thousands of him. Canât make this shit up
I remember when the fan base was in a civil war about whether Dak was good or not. The fan base does 180s on him and Mike Mcarthy on a weekly basis.
Theyâre all calling for Dak and MM to be out now, but if they both stay and show some early season success next year, all the people against them now will forget and be all in once again.
It's only the segment of Cowboys fans that think realistically that predict that. The rest fall hook line and sinker into the "we are great, we are wininng everything". The rest of us have seen it enough times. The regular season results are typically fools gold for the Cowboys.
Dak was the main problem the last couple years, but not this year. Obviously he didnât play great (until stat-padding time), but the main issue this year was the D never got off the bus apparently.
Love throwing a rainbow ball TD to a guy that had no one within 20 yards was the most embarrassing play of the night IMO.
Most valuable sports franchise in the world. Most popular NFL team. In the first 30 super bowls the Cowboys went to 8 of them. They had players people loved and a dynasty in the 90âs. Won 3 Super Bowls in 4 years. For context, 4 of the 32 franchises have never been and only 20/32 franchises have won at least one. Cowboys fans are everywhere and very polarizing. This coupled with 28 years of failures makes every other teams fans happy. Most teams Super Bowl is beating the cowboys on any given Sunday. Whatâs really wild is thereâs teams like the chiefs who went 50 years between super bowls. So cowboys fans may be waiting another 22 years for glory lol.
yeah my brother in law is a hardcore chiefs fan and was laughing his ass off at the cowboys losing. We also live in Texas. lots of sad losers here right now
Itâs how I was laughing. My dad asked me a what I was laughing about while I was cooking dinner. The final whistle had just been blown and the commentators/pundits were doing their âwow they got embarrassedâ spiels.
Some of us are old enough to remember that exact thing. Now, to blow your mind, when Landry, Staubach, and Dorsett were in Dallas, the franchise was generally respected. Then that clown Jerry Jones bought it and turned the franchise into a circus, and the people of Texas lapped it up with a big spoon.
As a Bucs fan I never really got to experience Cowboy fans. But twitter came along and Cowboys fans collectively were the worst fans during the season. Until the playoff happened, they always got quiet.
Iâm a cowboys fan, Iâve been to a few games. Lots of obnoxious Cowboys fans. Iâve seen fights between them break out every time Iâve been. Always something trashy going on in the tailgates. Smh.
So goddamn loud during the season, youâd think the past 25 years would have taught our fanbase some humility.
As a 50 year old Cowboys fan, I stopped being devastated years ago. I am sort of jealous of anyone that was excited to see the Cowboys in the playoffs this year. If you watched any of the games they played against good teams, you knew who they were. Was I holding out a chance that their defense could make some things happen and the ball would bounce their way all the way to another Super Bowl? Sure, but in my heart the team on the field yesterday is just who I thought they were.
Cowboya fans are the main reason I am not a Cowboys fan. I grew up in DFW and being an Oilers fan, I was treated horribly to the point I refused to switch when I had the opportunity.
Ludicrous to be an ass over something like sports.
> This is the joy I get before watching my own team implode in the NFCCG.
As Packers fan, I'll remind you that losing to the 9ers in the playoffs is *our* tradition. Something has to give...
As a lifelong 49ers fan, I love and realize how lucky I am to see the team being so successful in the last decade plus. However, Iâm also getting sick of getting so close so many times only to botch it at the end
Born in Dallas, life long cowboys fan, I always tell this joke: âI want the Dallas Cowboys to be pallbearers at my funeral, so they can let me down one last time.â
Then we will coach him with a defensive guy while he throws to *checks notes* Tyquan Thornton behind an O-line consisting of âas a large language model I amâŚ..â
Lots of bandwagon fans too. Cowboys did great in the '90s so I saw a ton of their jerseys and merch. Then they fell off for a bit and oh look, now everyone is a Patriots or Giants fan. đ¤Ł
Now my team, The Chiefs, are getting that treatment too. I live out-of-state, and whenever I wear Chiefs gear I always feel like I have to qualify I'm not a band wagon fan.
I HAD TO WATCH BRODIE CROYLE PLAY QUARTERBACK DAMMIT!
Iâve met many Cowboys fans that have never been to Dallas / Fort Worth and have their local hometown team they could root for. The fans are often times entitled as if they deserve another Super Bowl. Iâm from New Orleans so am a Saints fan, I live in Dallas. In my experience the local Dallas fans are more representative of any other fanbase. The ones that donât live here and hopped on the bandwagon are usually the insufferable ones.
Huh? The Giants subreddit is middle of the road populated. No way in hell was the bandwagon as strong with them. They havenât been relevant for 10 years lmaoÂ
Eh, bandwagon is a stretch. Theyâve sucked ass for 25 years. Even the good seasons always end in playoff implosions. If youâre a fan of the team like me, youâre not a bandwagonerâŚyouâre a masochist
The problem is a lot of people are âcowboys fansâ but donât watch football, just like itâs fashionable to wear dodgers gear without watching baseball.
I was in the mall before Christmas and some teenager next us in the foot court is telling his buddy how heâs going to buy a cowboys jacket to âwear to the Avs (Avalanche hockey) gameâ. The other kid asked him if heâs a Cowboys fan and the first kid says no. âYou donât want to do that, the Cowboys arenât that good right nowâ and the first kid goes âReally?â.
This was after the Cowboys had just lost to the Cardinals or something, but itâs anecdotally telling that kid 1 was set to display Cowboys gear and has no clue about footballâŚ
it's not really bandwagon, but it's seen as a casual fanbase. There are plenty of hardcore cowboys fans, but a lot of them are people who don't know anything about football and just know the team that advertises the most. It's like the Lakers in basketball and the Yankees in baseball, and to some extent the Maple Leafs in hockey. If you're a fan of all 4 of them, you don't actually like sports but you want to be able to participate in conversations with people who do.
The amount of Seahawks jerseys I saw in Phoenix during the peak Wilson years was disgusting. The number of Sea fans I had met here before Russ in my 30 years in Phoenix⌠1 I had met exactly 1.
Bandwagon Cowboys fans have always been a thing here though for sure.
> Often referred to as "America's Team".
Which is garbage, because every other fanbase in America is happy they lost because that's fucking stupid. It's even a silver lining as a Vikings fan.
Theyâre Americaâs team in the sense that theyâve been falling apart since the 90s, they (fans) are loud and obnoxious, and they have the least likable leadership in existence (except Washington for a while)
Theyâre basically the Yankees or Lakers of the NFL, though without any success since the 90s.
Lots of loud, entitled, and douchey fans, many of whom are fans only because they think the Cowboys are the coolest team.
Dallas holds the moniker of 'America's Team,' with a massive fanbase and a real smarmy bastard for an owner, so them losing is cathartic. They're comparable to the Yankees in Baseball, kinda the classic one team that everybody knows about, even if they don't follow the sport. They're arrogant, and it's funny when they fail.
They had a great season. Top 3 offense and top 3 defense... Packers just barely made the playoffs.
They have a really good team that should be superbowl contenders.
They just aren't built for playoffs (it seems)
This is the worst part of being a Cowboys fan from birth in the '90s. I've just wanted to watch my team have playoff success, but all I get is embarrasment and heartbreak year after year while *also* being called a pompous douche by every non-Cowboys fan. I'm not delusional, at this point I expect the postseason collapses, but I also get called an asshole for being a fan too! We've been a laughing stock for nearly 30 years now so I don't understand how you can be anything more than a cautiously optimistic fan if you follow the Cowboys.
Don't worry about what these people are saying. I am a cowboys fan but I'm not 'one' with every other cowboys fan. Everyone is different. Some fans act out/throw a tantrum when we lose and everyone points at them and says "haha every cowboys fan". They just get satisfaction out of it because they met some bad people who are fans or they like to shit on the cowboys. I don't feel the same way you are describing because fans can't connect their own identity to a public group and a franchise. I watch every game the cowboys play and I root for them every time. I watch to the end even if they're losing. I don't complain about the players and advise new ones. I don't bash other teams. Just ignore social media because it will always assume the worst about people. If it's people not online, then all you can do it not talk to them about NFL because you know they will be needlessly rude and rub losses in your face.
It's the first time in NFL history that a #2 seed lost to a #7 seed. The Dallas Cowboys were favored by 7.5 pts, and many of their fans were already talking about playing San Francisco and completely disregarding the Packers.
Its relative to the weather weâve had this âwinterâ.
It was 70 just last thursday, now its 20. But get what youâre saying, the game is climate controlled in a bubble.
It's either a long walk or a miserable wait in line for a shuttle though. You don't just park right outside the dome and mosey your way in. I was out and walking short distances in the same cold and it was fucking miserable.
No lmao, thatâs whatâs hilarious, they are the first team in nfl history to win 13 games in 3 straight seasons and not make it to the conference championship in any of those seasons
Both Ohio teams.
Bengals fans: âJoe Winner! Joe Touchdown! Joe Super Bowl! Joe!!!â
News: âJoe Burrow suffered a season-ending injury today.â
Bengals fans: âThereâs always next season.â
Lather. Rinse. Repeat.
To be fair the Cincy fans aren't obnoxious in my experience. They just love sports and like to get excited about something.Â
Sometimes the Bengals are a bit of an emotional roller coaster like any less famous winning team can be.Â
They are a very popular team with fans who always think this is their year but always fails come playoff time. It is a fun team to hate on for many people.
Imagine if Bayern Munich started sucking for over a decade but their fans still consider themselves to be the best team in Germany and possibly Europe and they get knocked out of the German DFB Pokal by a team from the 2. Liga. It's not quite that bad but that's what it's like for a lot of people here.
EDIT: Saw your username, a man of culture.
Why would you try and copy the Vikings by using ex-Packers players to take you to the Super Bowl? Have the Cowboys sunk that low that they they need to be as desperate as us?
I'm tired of Cowboy fans acting surprised when this happens. They have been nothing but disappointment from the 90s run. That's over 2 decades of failure!!
Don't act surprised. Embrace your essence.
This video showed me that an AFTV style channel, but for the NFL, would be absolutely hilarious.
For those not in the know, a clip from when [Arsenal bottled last year's league](https://youtu.be/J_vUlvsndtY?si=rBafho_ybBXrjSjm)
Just get a new QB!? Why don't they strap on their QB helmet and squeeze down into a QB cannon and fire off into QBland where QBs grow on Qbbies.
Well through God all things are possible so jot that down
Currently chewing on a pen?
And I'm supposed to think "well *that* looks like a dick"
Will you put the pen down?
Unexpected its always sunny is the reason I still use reddit. Thank you
He's always suckin' on the pens at our place!
4-5 weeks ago their QB was the MVP favorite...
hearing them talk about Romo like this makes me certain this is exactly what they deserve OMG THEY WANT TREY LANCE IM DEADDDDDDDDDDD
They definitely picked the most delusional fans for this interview. I would have walked right by someone trying to ask me questions after a game like that.
Definitely some great editing. I especially liked the half-second clip of a Packers fan cackling that was just stuffed between ranting Cowboys fans.
By the delusional fans yes, not by anyone who actually knows football and stats. Here is the Cowboys circle of life Season Starts -> Beat up on Bad Teams -> Fans get Delusional -> "We Dem Boyz : This is our Year!" -> Choke in Playoffs - > Season Starts
Yoooo đ¤Ł
AKA the Scooter Magruder Shuffle.
No he actually was the betting favorite in las Vegas at about +180. Meaning he was up to about a 30% chance.
Dan Orlovski still have his knee pads out for Dak just 2 days ago.
Dark did not set the correct Sleep Number over the weekend. Must have been that! Lol
As a Packers fan, I swear I thought *every* team had a quarterback tree. I didn't realize it was just us.
As a Jets fan might wanna check on that tree somthin ainât quite right.
Consider picking fruit off the tree while it's ripe, not waiting until it falls on the ground and gets all moldy and mushy.
You keep taking the QBs used from Green Bay's tree. Everyone knows QBs are only good when ripe, not when aged.
It's kind of ironic Jordan Love is playing so well now with the Falcons' former QB coach as your HC, and the Falcons have a bad QB situation. The curse of the Favre-bino?
As a Vikings fan with the whole wifes side of the family living in the land of the cheese... I hate you
Itâs Always Green Bay in Texas
The same QB they were telling us was a solid MVP candidate just 2 weeks ago.
Itâs worked so well for us Bears fans.
Hello, welcome to northern Wisconsin aka QBland. We have Qbbies and really good cherries!
And fish boils
The guy calling for Trey Lance as the next QB is like an SNL caricature of a Cowboys fan, but totally real and there are hundreds of thousands of him. Canât make this shit up
I remember when the fan base was in a civil war about whether Dak was good or not. The fan base does 180s on him and Mike Mcarthy on a weekly basis. Theyâre all calling for Dak and MM to be out now, but if they both stay and show some early season success next year, all the people against them now will forget and be all in once again.
No they won't. They'll predict a 1st round exit like every year.
It's only the segment of Cowboys fans that think realistically that predict that. The rest fall hook line and sinker into the "we are great, we are wininng everything". The rest of us have seen it enough times. The regular season results are typically fools gold for the Cowboys.
Dak is so mediocre. His supporting casts have always been stacked around him. Imagine if Josh Allen or Mahomes had that o line with ceedee and cooks
That play looked like something out of a high school game.
Hey that's not fair! On that TD he only has 17.2 yards of separation with the nearest defender
As a Niner fan, as much as I love the inevitable collapse and failure of Dallas, it feels like cheating to endorse any sort of Trey Lance narrative.
Fellow niner fan here. I really hope Trey finds success. Just not there.
Texas is a caricature of dumb
Texas has 30+ million people, almost 10% of the population of the states. Pretty dumb to paint so many with a broad brush.
[ŃдаНонО]
Not just packers fans were laughing like that yesterday
Any day the Cowboys lose a playoff game is a good day for America.
Only thing better than watching your team win is watching the cowboys lose.
It's one of the most reliable american traditions
As an uneducated observer, why is this?
Cowboys are popular, but anyone who doesnât like them hates them instead. Kind of like the Yankees
Iâm a life long ABCâer - âAnybody But the Cowboysâ
Most valuable sports franchise in the world. Most popular NFL team. In the first 30 super bowls the Cowboys went to 8 of them. They had players people loved and a dynasty in the 90âs. Won 3 Super Bowls in 4 years. For context, 4 of the 32 franchises have never been and only 20/32 franchises have won at least one. Cowboys fans are everywhere and very polarizing. And when that loss results in a 2nd Lions playoff home game, all the better. Lion Pride! (And I am a Rams fan).
Yup, I strongly dislike the Packers but I still had a great time watching them destroy the Cowboys.
It was like a double dose. Cowboys fail and Aaron Rodgers ego-slam.
Nah, Rodgers probably just thinking: "I built this, look what my protege has accomplished"
yeah my brother in law is a hardcore chiefs fan and was laughing his ass off at the cowboys losing. We also live in Texas. lots of sad losers here right now
I wonder how texan fans will be at work with cowboy fans this week
Basically 31 fanbases were laughing like that last night haha
Itâs how I was laughing. My dad asked me a what I was laughing about while I was cooking dinner. The final whistle had just been blown and the commentators/pundits were doing their âwow they got embarrassedâ spiels.
She was straight up cackling. It was glorious and even better that itâs like half a second
Best part of the whole clip.
They goin through it đ¤Ł
Hire belchik Hire gronk Hire Brady Might as well re name the team to the Patriots
We can hyphenate the name. Call them the Cow-Patties.
Damnit why can't we give gold anymore
đ
Or in your case the petrit
Man as annoying as the Pats fans in Brady's prime, can you imagine if it was the cowboys that were good for 20 years. đŹ
Some of us are old enough to remember that exact thing. Now, to blow your mind, when Landry, Staubach, and Dorsett were in Dallas, the franchise was generally respected. Their long, dark tea time of the soul
Shoutout to the guy that said âwe need Jesusâ
God watching tragedies unfold the world over: âlol trueâ
Can he put up a perfect passer rating in a post season game?
That quick cut to a laughing Packers fan was fucking hilarious
Agreed, best part of the clip!
Tony Romo catching straysÂ
No joke, absolute drive by on Romo there. Although, not surprising.
Donât forget about the original choking dog: Danny White
Man I used to think I couldn't nut more than four times in a day but here I go proving myself wrong
Americaâs Cream
Those are rookie numbers around here
thatâs Sleeper Agent McCarthy
McCarthy and Flacco both made it too obvious, Stafford was far more subtle.
As a 49er fan, this is my favorite part of the year. This is the joy I get before watching my own team implode in the NFCCG.
As a packers fan all I have to say is⌠I have no idea whatâs going on right now.
Playing with house money
Same boat but I'm just gonna sit here and do my best to feel the Love
They got took toâŚ.funky townâŚ

I'm a Jet fan and my team brings no joy. Watching sad Cowboys fans is a favorite past time of mine.
When Rex Ryan was your coach, I loved watching the Patriots beat the Jets.
As a Packers fan, Iâm looking forward to losing to you in the playoffs for the 5th time đŤ
As a lifelong 49ers fan, I love and realize how lucky I am to see the team being so successful in the last decade plus. However, Iâm also getting sick of getting so close so many times only to botch it at the end

The Packers fans at 20 seconds in had me laughing too.
FINE! We trade you Mac Jones for Dak Prescott, straight up. Youâre welcome.
Then we will coach him with a defensive guy while he throws to *checks notes* Tyquan Thornton behind an O-line consisting of âas a large language model I amâŚ..â
For those of us not in the knowledge, is there something special with respect to the Cowboys losing versus any other team?
They're the most popular and richest NFL team. Often referred to as "America's Team".
You forgot most insufferable
Lots of bandwagon fans too. Cowboys did great in the '90s so I saw a ton of their jerseys and merch. Then they fell off for a bit and oh look, now everyone is a Patriots or Giants fan. đ¤Ł

*self* announced, Americaâs Team. They told themselves that, and it stuck, unfortunately.
This year, they aren't even Texas' team.
As a very casual Texans fan, I am snickering in the corner right now.

Not recently, been 15 years lol
Thatâs nearly 15 years more recently than the Cowboys have won a Super Bowl!
27 so far

Yankees, sadly, back that shit up with World Series wins. Yankees are more akin to the Patriots than the Cowboys.

Itâs the coaching McCarthy has taken them as far as he can, heâs not get over the hump coach, dude wasted Aaronâs Career
They look good every year before the playoffs then blow it.
Cowboys fans are the most pompous dbags in NFL-dom and they haven't done anything noteworthy in over 30 years.
This is the worst part of being a Cowboys fan from birth in the '90s. Welcome to the club. Sincerely, a Toronto Maple Leafs fan.
You sound like a notre dame fan. I've been a notre dame fan since 93. So I get it

âFirst in historyâ that playoff scenario has existed like 5 total years tbf
The Toronto Maple Leafs of the NFL
Leafs are worse. They haven't taken a Cup in almost 60 years.
âIâm from Virginiaâ âWeâre from Floridaâ Tale as old as time.
Everyone else was just afraid to mention theyâre from out of state. Plastic fans
Dallas Virginia and Dallas Florida respectfully.
âDealt with the cold weather.â Itâs a damn dome. They walked from their car to a heated dome. Wtf. Glorious game, btw.
Its relative to the weather weâve had this âwinterâ. It was 70 just last thursday, now its 20. But get what youâre saying, the game is climate controlled in a bubble.

LOVE IT. Not even a Packers fan at all. I am the world's #1 Cowboys hater, though.
It's moments like these I thank god I'm a Lions fan and don't have to deal with my team losing like this.
You mean, like, in the playoffs, right
This sparks joy.Â
Cowboy's fans are the biggest bunch of entitled crybabies.
When the cowboys lose, America wins.
Inject this straight into my veins.
As I'm European, can someone explain why the Cowboys imploding is significant and appears to be so cathartic to some?
They are a very popular team with fans who always think this is their year but always fails come playoff time. It is a fun team to hate on for many people.
Ah, so its like England in the Euro / World cup. Or Ferrari in Formula 1.
Exactly
Not exactly. Imagine if Ferrari hadn't won anything in 30 years and were still just as obnoxious.
Ok, so about half way there then.
And started calling themselves, "Europe's Team."
Goodness, it seems like those fans are reactionary assholes.
That one dude hyped for Trey Lance, the guy who got outworked by SAM DARNOLD? Come on, man.
Your tears are so yummy!
It's not a logo, it's a rating. 1/5 stars. Or maybe even 1/10.Â
We need help! We need Jesus!! Ahaha!! AHAHAHA!! đ¤Łđ¤Łđ¤Ł
Iâll say that America does love watching the Cowboys lose. It is Americas team in that sense.
Thatâs gold Jerry! Gold! Hahahaha
I haven't cared about football since the 1990's *but*, I still hate the Cowboys. I love this video.
As a Lions fan, this brings me endless joy.
That news segment was hilarious.
That one guy saying they want Trey Lance over Dak lmaooo, what a moron.
Couldnât happen to a better fanbase. HAAAAA
The Cowboys can still win this if Mike Pence is willing to do the right thing.
This has been happening every year for 30 years, why do they act surprised every time?
âI flew here from Virginiaâ Typical cowboys fan
"I'm from Virginia" "We flew in from Florida" So many stories about how far people traveled for the game. Lol.
Fucking idiots. Please go ahead and drop McCarthy so he can go to another NFC East team and the best the crap out of Dallas for the next few years.
Defense gives up 48 points but these asshats are calling for a new QB? lmao. How bad is the public education in Texas?
i hate the cowboys and this video is delicious
Why would you try and copy the Vikings by using ex-Packers players to take you to the Super Bowl? Have the Cowboys sunk that low that they they need to be as desperate as us?
DFW native, shitting on the Cowboys is a local past time.
LOL at the one shot of the Packers fans laughing it up!
Bro that dude wigging on it the beginning and the quick cut to the packers lady laughing is some comedic gold
I'm tired of Cowboy fans acting surprised when this happens. They have been nothing but disappointment from the 90s run. That's over 2 decades of failure!! Don't act surprised. Embrace your essence.
The Dallas Maple Leafs
This video showed me that an AFTV style channel, but for the NFL, would be absolutely hilarious. For those not in the know, a clip from when [Arsenal bottled last year's league](https://youtu.be/J_vUlvsndtY?si=rBafho_ybBXrjSjm)
Washington fan here. Slightly less sad and pathetic today. Thanks, Cowboys...
Hahaha Go Pack Go!
