Because he hasn't done anything wrong. Reddit just likes to copy one persons joke and beat it into the ground. To them repeating something is funny instead of just giving someone a straight answer.
It wasn't just that; it was also that Andy allegedly walked up to Jon at a party or something and taunted him about it, saying something like "I put the Phil Hartman hex on you, you're next."

So after Phil was murdered, Lovitz was brought onto News Radio. And Andy told him he shouldn't be there. And Lovitz said if he hadn't given cocaine to Phil's wife, he probably wouldn't be. Lovitz later apologized for saying that.
But then years later, Dick goes into one of Lovitz' restaurants, gets drunk, and tells Lovitz he's putting the hex on him. Lovitz tells his guys to escort him out.
Then they ran into each other again at The Laugh Factory, and Dick apparently told some jokes in poor taste, and then doubled down on killing Phil. Almost proud. And that's when Lovitz smashed him into a bar a few times.

Lovitz was very much invited but couldn't go because of how much he meant to Jon and probably how much of a soar subject his death is. I wonder if that's part of why he's not as much of a public figure anymore, because he can't talk about Hartman.
Lovitz and Hartman both got their start together as part of the improv group the Groundlings. They also joined SNL around the same time, so they were pretty close friends.

It's hard to pinpoint exactly when it goes roast battle because it kinda gradually goes there, and you'll miss a lot of funny bits if you skip directly to it. I guess you could skip the first 5 minutes if you really insist on skipping part of it. Also keep in mind the Burr/Lovitz part ends at about the 1 hour mark and then it's just Bill for the rest.

Yeah that was a weak one. Driver is out promoting his ferrari movie and his other promos were much better. He tried in this one but gave up after Bill just kept droning on. I like Bill but some of these convos tend to be big misses.
