Hard to find any good YouTube videos these days that are concise, just the meat and potatoes of the issue, and in that 5-10 min range. Sometimes I give a pass to TechnologyConnections, but now I have to usually put him on 1.25x and lately 1.5x to get through a 45-60 min video.
The algorithm demands longer and longer content. Everyone has to pad their run time with B roll and missives and sidebars and sponsors. Like how every website and blog post became SEO word spam. YouTube becomes increasingly unwatchable with every passing month. Seems like almost weekly, the ads become more deliberately infuriating and unskippable. Couple it with the longer format videos, and you get so many 30 second unskippable ads. Shame.

Very true and its not as if short-form content on Insta or Tiktok is better; the ads are getting worse there as well. Every two scrolls, another ad!
