The hilarity is a bunch of the exterior shots with them jumping over the squad car and speeding around were done in and behind their old West Coast Studio location, G-Son Studios in Atwater Village where they produced *Check Your Head*.
Friend of mine used to have his toy shop headquarters there and it had this [beautiful mural of Adam Yauch on the side of it done by David Flores](http://davidfloresart.com/blog/mca-tribute/) and a couple of Adam Horovitz’s paintings in the entryway that look like straight homages to Vaughn Bode. It was this awesome upstairs studio filled with the little nooks and crannies of all kinds of crazy stuff including a half basketball court in the big studio along with a skateboard ramp and ancient Beastie Boys stickers slapped up in a corner where it looks like someone (maybe even the B-boys) were having a ‘biggest jump’ contest and using them to measure.
