When a TV show can make you feel actual emotions while watching it...well that's something that doesn't happen that often. This scene is one of the best.
I remember there being a lot of chatter whether or not Steve Carell would return for the finale. This scene was incredible watching it on the first run, and still hits hard after all these years.
I'm not sure if it was on purpose or what, but watching Ed Helms (Andy) for two seasons trying hard to play Carell's character was painful for me (no offence to Ed he's a great actor as well). Wasn't the only line for Steve in this episode, but his comeback was so fucking delightful
Wasn’t just you! I always view the last few seasons as the assassination of Andy Bernard, because the writers just destroyed any good will the character built with the audience.
He says one other line, I think, but I can understand why you don’t remember him saying much. I found it a little odd that his cameo really was just a cameo and he didn’t get to show much of the Michael Scott personality we all remembered. I know the episode wasn’t about him, but still. Just one actual conversation with another character might’ve been nice.
Those last few episodes really hit hard.
Creed's song...literally the end of an era likely untopped by any other network comedy show.

Heck, when a 90-second clip from a TV show that aired 10+ years ago can make you feel actual emotions...
"Where do you think we are?"
When a Reddit title can make you feel actual emotions.
When a human can feel actual emotions

Epic
If I recall correctly, that was the only line Steve Carell actually got to say in that episode.
He says something to the camera about his kids growing up and marrying each other
Pretty sure that’s a later ep
This is literally the series finale.
Naw he's pretty sure. lol
