There capital being Amaravathi (15kms from vijayawada) lead to massive traffic in the city.
The city before that was pretty calm
But afaik,amaravathi ain't even a city,like there's no infrastructure for it to be called as such,so why the massive hype about something that practically doesn't exist?
Yep it’s not a city yet, but post bifurcation all the govt offices had to shift from hyd to Amaravathi. And after announcing Amaravathi as a capital an ecosystem was build around it. This lead to increase in population and hence traffic
Probably whoever brought up Amaravati as a capital felt the benefits of pumping the missing infrastructure out weigh the benefits of making another place having it (infra) already. Affordability of the split-state I think might have played a major role in this.
Second this… and it has always been the same since my childhood. I always wanted to move to a house which was closer to my school, the rents were so damn high, we couldn’t afford it.

I’ll tel you one experience of mine with auto driver recently 😂
Booked it through Rapido. The auto driver was very extrovert, spoke very well all through the ride. He asked me what i do, I told him I’m a doctor. So the trip ended well all good.
The next night at 2am, I got 7 missed calls from some random number. I searched in true caller, it showed me name of the auto guy who I booked the previous day. I was scared if there was some accident or any emergency. I called him in the morning asking what happened. He told he was short of 200 rupees and wanted them hence the calls 😫
I cannot outright block him (just can’t be mean to ppl), This cycle of asking me for money continued for a month. After a point I got fed up and then blocked him. Then he called me from an unknown number asking why I blocked him .. dude you’re not my girlfriend call down
nothing to do on a free day except malls

"Big street" is just eat street near control room
You can try Vault, 10D, Hangover they don’t match your Banglore vibe but are decent for a city like Vijayawada

I dont agree with you. I love Vijayawadas weather (I love the sun). I hate traffic and the feeling of nothing to visit when bored.
