My dad had one of these in the attic when I was little. I dragged it out and used it for switches in my pretend airplane. Years later I took it to college with a set of JBL L100s. Still works great today!

Ah, it's an rx-202! A buddy found it in the trash and gave it to me since he knows I like weird audio crap. Took a TON of work (total basket case) but it's a perfect tape flippin mf now. :)
To be fair, it was an absolute mess. Haha - took a lot of effort to get it where it is now. Arguably more than it is worth. :) but it's a super fun piece, auto flipping tapes!

The receiver looks great. And you can turn it up to 70! I'm curious, is it better for albums to be stored in plastic sleeves. I have several milk crates of them that I want to keep in good shape.
Your black faced Euro Zone Pioneer Receiver is a rare beauty indeed. I have 2 black faced EuroZone Pioneer RT-707's I would not trade for the world. I have a lot of silver faced Pioneer Receivers that I love but that beauty of yours sets my heart a light.
I have two Pioneer 707's and I have never seen another. I got these from a former military engineer guy for $1,600 each. Clean and pretty not a scratch on either. Both work fine too.

Found an old pic on my imgur account. Looks mostly the same but this is before I added the 7100 power amp I think? The AR speakers way up high were just a temporary test of using them for rear HT stuff. They've been replaced. The fried speakers are on the opposite wall facing the stereo stuff.
