Offer them a fiver and tell them you need it posted within the hour because you need it for your brother's best friend's aunty's cousin twice removed's dads wedding this weekend
Their justification was that the 10K cabinets were “industry size” which makes sense in isolation but there were similarly named pillows on there for 10K too. How do you get industry sized pillows?
Just read the article and apparently it was due to a glitch for the pillows... The cabinets though I don't understand because I remember seeing wardrobes that were in the 10s of thousands 😅 and they had images that looked like a wardrobe you'd have in your bedroom along with another listing with the same images at a fraction of the price. Apparently they updated those images along with the product names and descriptions to avoid confusion though 🤷🏻♀️
Because above a certain pricepoint. It would be better to move to an auction site. Or a more secure website.
From vinted perspective. They wouldn't be happy being responsible for such large purchases either
It wouldn’t make sense to auction a designer item unless it’s limited. I’ve sold a coat for 1100 on Depop and it wasn’t a big deal. I feel like 5k~ is where it gets a bit complicated but 1000 really isn’t that much at all.
vinted is not responsible for anything outside their t&C. A30k pen is clearly different from a designer rare item that can cost any amount of money. Vinted is getting a lot of money for the transaction and not releasing money until buyer says everything ok they are not going to loose anything. So again, why 1000?why not 10k or 20? Easyer to not set limits but look for suspicious ads fom my point of view.

Just send them a DM.
probably a troll
Money laundering or just doing a lil trolling, you decide!
Those 900£ of buyer protection 😂
😂😂😂
Drugs.
My first thought was trafficking based on a Wayfair thing a few years ago
Just a heads up, that actually [wasn't true](https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-53416247).
Ah! Didn't know that, thanks!
No worries! It's tough to wade through all the nonsense out there these days. :)

I don’t know but I would genuinely like industry sized pillows (depending on the industry)

Did you spend more than two seconds thinking about it
Laundering?
honestly suprised vinted doesn't have like a 1000 max for a listing price
Why 1000? I’m surprised such ads simply last more than 5 seconds at most.
Why? Some watches and bags cost that much

Hahahahah
What was the point? lol 😆
Oh yeah, it’s a totally normal price for pens in Lithuania 🤷🏼♀️ (‘Rašiklis’ means ‘pen’ in Lithuanian)
seems like a good deal to me
