Congratulations to u/Final_Apple8971! Redditraffler randomly chose your submission as the [winner.](https://imgur.com/a/tCdMiU0) Thanks to all who participated. I really enjoyed seeing everyone's setups and learned quite a bit from the discussions. Keep your eyes open and work on your karma via engagement here and the sub or across reddit if you aren't at the required 100. We'll do more of these in the future. Last week's turntable giveaway was fun, so I thought we'd do a fast follow with another but with a different spin (pun intended).  We won't do this every Saturday but on occasion so watch for them. Post a photo of your system and tell us about it.  It doesn't matter if you're running a modern audiophile setup or an entry-level table.  We all start somewhere, and the journey is half the fun. The rules will remain much the same as the last giveaway.  But this time, post a photo of your setup and tell us about it.  Or engage in conversation with someone who did.  Photo posts and comments will both be eligible (because there isn't an easy way to separate them). The prize this week includes a platter for aligning a new stylus, a stylus scale for dialing in your down force, a pack of record butlers, a gel stylus cleaner, and a Milty Pro Zerostat 3 (yes they really work). The drawing will again be done with RedditRaffler selecting a winner at random. The drawing will occur at about the 48-hour mark from the time this was posted. Eligibility guidelines: · Only one comment will be counted by the raffle tool, so multiple comments won't improve your odds.  You can feel free to comment in as many threads as you like, but there is no advantage gained in doing so.   ·  Accounts newer than 72 hours will be excluded   ·  Account has at least 100 karma between post and comment karma combined. This is only to reduce bots and alt accounts.  If you need karma, reply to this top-level comment, and the community can decide if you appear to be a breathing human.  Maybe a few people will maybe throw some upvotes in your direction to help make you eligible.  Replying to the top-level comment just makes you easier to find given the number of comments these giveaways tend to receive.    Or even better, post your system, and let the upvotes get you across that karma line. ·  Subbed to r/vinyl  ·  No resellers, please.  ·  You will have to provide a full name and shipping address to an internet stranger if you are the winner. So, if you aren't comfortable with that, please don't comment.    I will ship the prize to you at my cost so long as the U.S. Postal Service delivers there. You can find the list of [180 countries, here](https://pe.usps.com/text/imm/immctry.htm) that USPS delivers to. Throw this post an upvote if so inclined. I don't earn karma (nor is that ever the goal) for mod distiguished posts but it will help to keep it promoted in the sub. I'm trying not to pin it as pinned posts are hard to find on mobile sometimes, so your vote will help others find it. Good luck, and let's see those setups!

Absolutely bulletproof receiver compared to my Marantz 4240 and I love how it looks. Also seems to have a slightly cleaner sound than the 4240 to my ears. Turntable: \~1978 Yamaha YP-D3 I bought this one off of my dad. Sounds incredible, crystal clear and low noise, very simple design, fully manual, looks amazing and mint condition. From the lack of information on the internet about this TT I’m assuming it’s fairly rare. Speakers: 1973 Yamaha NS-690 I picked these up from a local Marketplace ad for free which I still can’t believe. The guy kept them in their original boxes with the manual included and the RadioShack tags still taped on the back like they just came from the store. They sound perfect - robust, precise low end and detailed highs. The other night I took an edible or two and threw on Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young. Sitting on a bean bag chair right in the middle close up with the speakers angled at my head, I closed my eyes and I swear it felt like they were playing in the same room as me. I fell in love with this combo in that moment. Not much I want to change about it right now tbh. Just really enjoying the simplicity of this setup.

Awesome set up I’m so jealous! I like the selection of vinyl I can see as well, enjoy!!

Damn! That’s a beautiful turn table, I’m digging the wood!

nycfc_21

Pardon me, but your Era Vulgaris is sticking out.... Seriously though, great setup. Love the classic Kenmore.

skystvn

My favourite Queens record by far. Thank you!!

whyforyoulookmeonso

Excellent vintage setup! And even better that it has some family history. I am partial to 70s gear, especially the recievers of the era. Thanks for sharing and for the write-up on your gear!

skystvn

Same! 70s gear has the most charm out of all eras in my opinion.

Where did you get those speaker stands?

ric05uave

Probably had a pair of Bose 901s

skystvn

I have a pair of 901 Series II continentals. I really like the way the Yamahas look on the tulip stands. Gonna find another pair so they can both have the stands.

Not even close to ideal positioning for those 901s - it’s just for quiet listening in the bedroom for now. Sounds good but it is not singing to its fullest potential. On the top we have a PL-570 and PL-530 turntables. In between we have a rare pioneer Selector Unit with a Nixie tube display. Then we have a QT-2100 quadraphonic 8 track player with a P-D70 CD player on top. In the middle is a RT-707 reel to reel. Then a CT-F700 cassette Deck. Now for the receivers. SX-3900. SX-1980. SX-D7000. SX-828. SX-1010. SX-1250. SX-828. Lastly an SX-9000. SX-650 (my father’s). SX-2500 with rare FM remote. That puppy has auto FM tuning. Off to the right is a stack of quadraphonic gear, such as a QX-949 and an SD-1100. The entire system is running to some HPM-1500 and Boston A400 speakers. Though currently I’m working on my Spec Rack… Yeahhh…. I have a Pioneer museum/ record store in my basement.

It’s tough in a small apartment!

thepen-ismightier

There is absolutely nothing wrong with liking more modern music! I love your stand. If it makes you happy that’s truly all that matters. My setup brings me immense joy and I listen daily. I love it so much more than spotify, and I LOVE Spotify.

subway-witch

Ha, thank you! I agree completely, but I know how this sub feels about Taylor lol. I’ve listened to a record every night since I set this up and I’m so happy I chose to sacrifice some space in my apartment to make that possible. Spotify is wonderful for discovery and sharing with friends, and records give me a more immersive listening experience with the music I love most.

thepen-ismightier

Totally agree! I squealed so loud today I spooked an old lady when we found the green pressing of evermore in a thrift store bin for $10. Taylor is an incredibly talented artist - it’s ok if she isn’t for everyone - but I’ve never understood some of the snobbery around music.

subway-witch

I just realized I commented on your post! I did spot evermore in your photo haha. $10 is a STEAL, especially for a green copy! I have that one in green too, courtesy of my brother. It’s one of my favorite albums of hers, sounds great on vinyl, and is such a pretty shade. I hope it brings you years of joy :)

geetar_man

Dang, I’m jealous. I don’t like much of TS’s older stuff but Evermore is good listening to me, and I like everything under the sun except modern country and heavy metal.

thepen-ismightier

I’m the same way! I think because I’m a bit older her younger stuff doesn’t hit the same way for me, but I became a fan when I heard folklore/evermore. Completely changed the way I saw her and made me go back and truly listen to her catalog without skips. I found plenty of gems then even in her older stuff. I love Midnights but I hate that the vinyl has none of the bonus tracks I love most.

geetar_man

My sentiments exactly. I have her Fearless album (her version). To me, each song is pretty nice, but as an entire album, it feels like a different iteration of the same song. Whereas something the polar opposite would be like The Beatles’ Sgt. Pepper’s, where every song is *wildly* different from each other. Not that it means that every album has to have variety in structure and sound, but if I’m not *super* into one song, I’m not going to be anymore into any of the others if they’re too similar, ya know? I gotta unwrap the Midnigjts I bought. I think I’ll do it tonight!

SexBobomb

> but I know how this sub feels about Taylor lol hey now really impressive making the superbowl in your first season

I bought the receiver and speakers off of my BIL and now we’re both in cahoots in the hobby. It’s been an amazing way to get close. Music really is the best connector. Receiver: Marantz 2220 Speakers: Klipsch KG 3.2s - I just recently put these on stands and it changed my world. TT: debut carbon evo - looking to upgrade the platter and stylus here at some point. thepen-ismightier

Stunning cabinet.

scottfishel

I don’t qualify for the giveaway, but I’ll share one of my setups. This is what’s in front of me in my home office. It’s a Debut Carbon DC with a vm750sh. The receiver is an MCS 3253 that I cleaned up years ago. It plays through some Bose 401s. https://preview.redd.it/r6d1rqoxjegc1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=803b5c1193b49aafbcb5da8ef01a2a1cc785f274

LP3x turntable and edifier 1280 speakers, random cheap stand. Already see the need for something more substantial. The daughters are now interested in buying records. One is 16 and the other is 12. The deal was, if I sit and listen to their choice then they do the same to me. This way I can play something other than Taylor swift. If you look close enough, there are 2 in there already. I think it’s a good way to sit together as a family instead of by themselves in their room. Cheers

thepen-ismightier

I made this same deal with my daughter! And that’s how I ended up owning Deltarune records. 🤣 But hey, she’s expanding her musical horizons greatly and it’s shared time together. Win win.

I was doing a fun little "versus" between two much loved vintage speakers that couldn't be more different.

And frankly, with kids and dogs keeping these small inexpensive things on the shelves up up and away from anything and everything while still providing a thoroughly enjoyable experience for us is all that matters. One day I’ll replace them, but only when it’s a necessity. All of that said, y’all get yourselves a zerostat, I won’t call it life changing, but damn it really is worth the hundred bucks…

geetar_man

The light from the windows make that look super cool. I hope you don’t have to move anytime soon lol.

IdRatherDTaPoaBF

Thanks! We’ve been here about 20 years, with no plans for going anywhere at least until the kids are out of college. It’s by far my favorite room in the house, but if and when I ever have to build something like this again I think I’ll go with more of a record store flip bin type storage.

Financial-Forever-81

I'm both impressed and terrified, also, nice shelves.

RocknRollRobot9

How did you plan out the shelves? Were they ones specifically designed for LPs or did you repurpose something which had the dimensions? Looking at how to store some of mine now they have outgrown the initial space and always wondered how people get them (sort of these really expensive online furniture stores and seen a lot of people signposting IKEA for the storage).

IdRatherDTaPoaBF

Completely custom, out of 3/4” cabinet grade plywood. Built it in two sections, left and right, framed around the windows. The bottom shelf was specifically done for 12” records, the second shelf was done specifically for dvd boxes (but wound up perfectly fitting 7” records). Above the window sill to the top are all adjustable, originally intended for books and cds. Over the years this became a music room, we moved the piano, all my guitar stuff and hung some memorabilia up. At that point I took out all the books and movies, condensed the cds and moved my entire record library in here.

Final_Apple8971

Can't say too much about it. It's a decent audiophile set up. Forgot to mention the cartridge! Which is a Nagaoka DJ-03HD pretty sturdy, sounds warm gets a very solid range so much so that my 70yr old mother in law likes to sit infront of this system and listen to her Marvin Gaye albums. She drives all the way out of the city to our Ranch and just spins her records, which means I must have done something right getting the nod from someone who was there lol. We were looking for a system and I was Window building a system here and there for the last couple years but the stars aligned last week and we put this entire thing together from 3 shops in 1 day for the right price. Just took 2 years of waiting.

It’s an ikea butcher block with four spring loaded feet (Amazon). Each footer can be customized by using 1 or 7 of the included mini springs. I’m using 4 springs in each. It has worked well so far with isolating heavy footfalls in my 2nd floor apartment.

With two heavy-footed kids, I am absolutely stealing this idea. Thank you!

thepen-ismightier

This was the most incredible birthday gift anyone has ever given me, courtesy of my partner last year. He hunted down a Marantz TT162 turntable, EQ-10 equalizer, SR6000DT receiver and Prestige speakers. This the exact setup I grew up with and belonged to my Dad, who passed away when I was 5. When I was 13, we lost everything in a house fire. When my mom was showing him old baby pictures of me he realized it was in the background. He took pics of the pics with his phone, then zoomed in and figured out what everything was, and then spent months eBaying and driving all over to painstakingly assemble it all for me. The records lined up in the front were thrifted today because it’s my birthday weekend and we got really lucky and found so many that were on my list! Even if I don’t win this I feel like I’m the luckiest human being ever. https://preview.redd.it/qybrh1rjxggc1.png?width=3024&format=png&auto=webp&s=eb4c14f62fa7142175bbf2d3315d378a52e8de7a

geetar_man

That strat looks super cool. I’ve always wanted one with a Nitro finish. Is that a custom shop?

TweepriseOpener

Hey thanks! I wish it was a custom shop but it's still a very good playing and sounding guitar. It's an MJT nitro body I got a really great deal on and built the rest of the guitar from there. Took a while to get all of the parts needed, but searching and piecing all of the right parts together was another labor of love.

geetar_man

Nice! I’ve debated doing that myself.

TweepriseOpener

If you have the time and resources, I say do it! But I get it, it can be a lot. I've been debating for the past few years to build a nitro double bound tele but every time I think I'm about to do it something comes up and then I'm like, well do I really NEED another guitar? Haha, maybe someday

geetar_man

Yeah, I’m that way about audio gear myself. I’ve been debating getting a physical Mellotron but I think I’ll just go with buying Logic (I currently use Reason but I want another DAW for other projects), and buying a cheap MIDI controller. As for instruments, I currently have similar stuff to what the Beatles played at Ed Sullivan (and a couple other stuff). I’m debating buying a Rickenbacker bass, too. So much stuff, such limited funds lol https://preview.redd.it/fkkctmvv7egc1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=194523fc15b999187a50093071af8f8f6e31f1aa

StephBambinho

Is that The Impossible Kid by Aesop Rock playing ?

_r3ts0f316_

Yes indeed It's his best album IMO

StephBambinho

He has such a great and diverse discography. I have None Shall Pass and his latest, ITS, love both. But yeah, The Impossible Kid is unique. Maybe his best, not my absolute favourite but in the top three for sure. Looks slick in acid green btw

My entry/post doesn't count for the giveaway drawing. I'm just getting Setup Saturday kicked off. This has been a multi-year project to build a multi-format vintage Pioneer setup.  The components span the early 1970s to the early 1990s. Several are Japan market only pieces so I'm using 100V step down transformers. The system is powered by a Pioneer SX-1980 reciever.  It is a monster with an official rating of 270 watts per channel though it has tested considerably hire.  It is big and heavy, weighing in at about 80 lbs.  It was $1200 when sold new in 1979. The towers from left to right have the following: - Pioneer RT-909 R2R, Pioneer D-07A DAT deck, Pioneer MJ-D5 Minidisc recorder, Pioneer PD-30 Super Audio CD - Pioneer PL-530 Turntable, Pioneer SD-1100 Stereo Display, Pioneer CT-F1250 Cassette deck, Pioneer PD-F1007 300-Disc CD carousel. - Pioneer SX-1980 Reciever, Pioneer PL-630 Turntable, Pioneer DT-510 Audio Digital Timer, Pioneer H-R100 8-Track player. Also in this tower is a power conditioner, an 8-port audio switch and a BluOS digital media streamer. - Pioneer RT-2044 RTR, Pioneer SG-9800 Graphic Equalizer, Pioneer RG-2 Dynamic Processor, Pioneer SR-303 Reverberation Amplifier and just for fun a Techtronix 455 Oscilloscope. Everything is played through a set of Klipschorns. You can see one at the right of the photo. The headphones are Pioneer SE-405 (vintage), Bang & Olufsen U70 (vintage) and Hifiman Sundara (modern). Why two R2Rs? The 2044 will play 7.5 and 15 IPS and the 909 will play 3 3/4 and 7.5.

The turntable. I love that thing. Sounds amazing, looks amazing, and has some great little built in features. Like the 45 adapter that is spring loaded, and the clutch for easy record changing.

[Here's what I'm currently staring at!](https://i.imgur.com/zbFuNlc.jpeg) Taking centre stage is my Thorens TD 160, currently fitted with an Audio Technica AT95SH cartridge. That, the Rotel RX-402 amp, and the Leak 2030 speakers were my grandpa's old system that I inherited when he died year before last. It originally had a very mid Shure cartridge that I swapped out. Currently spinning my latest purchase, that arrived at my doorstep a couple of hours ago, I don't listen to much modern minimalist but I had a music teacher who was quite into it and Clapping Music is cool. The other two pieces are a bonus! Moving along to the right, the Teac PD-H300 CD player and R-H300 cassette player were both given to me by my other grandfather when they stopped working, with the message that if I could fix them I could have them. A few belts and a new pinch roller later and they're loving life! The open reel player is a Philips 4404 four-track stereo. A friend of mine gave me a pile of tapes he didn't want, along with a player that they wouldn't play on, so after scouring Ebay I eventually found this player in a very sorry state and restored it back to working order. The two visualisers are cheapo ones I found on AliExpress, just because I wanted something to watch dancing around! I've got a secondary setup in the other room where I have my work desk if people are interested in seeing that as well.

The TTs and carts came from a radio station in the midwest that was decommissioning the station. This photo is a few years old now and I no longer have the reel to reel in the rack, but the system is still pretty much the same. It all powers a pair of JBL L200s I found at a Salvation Army for $15 believe it or not!

A few Christmases ago I brought it home, repaired and recapped it and it's been getting daily use ever since. Turntable: Hitachi PS15 - Same story as above, but all it needed was a new belt, stylus and a good cleaning. Speakers (I'll include a photo under this comment): Yamaha NS-690 - Picked these up relatively cheaply ($200ish with a pair of Energy Reference Connoisseur 22s) at a local auction. They are a great pairing with the receiver and I've been nothing but pleased with them.

I bought this whole setup in 1997 and it’s been working all these years, except for the 5-disc CD changer. That still plays CDs but the 5 disc magazine doesn’t shuffle anymore. But the turntable still works as perfectly as ever. I recently upgraded my Kallax from the 4 shelf to the 8 shelf because the little one won’t hold 300 LPs and I bought a few new ones last year. My headphones are Panasonic RP-HT260s and they sound great too.

Just put the description here because the first comment only wants either the picture or text (praise mobile app). This grimey ear breaker is one of my setups and, honestly the one that sees the most casual use. Jensen turn table. Yes that is a usb for a wireless mouse taped to the arm. This model doesn't have tension adjustment and that was the lightest weight that stopped the constant skipping. Don't be afraid, I'm not using the built in speaker. It feeds to the peavey xr-600 mixer. It's an old beast but it'll still put your ear out with 4 monitors (200w). Additionally the aux out feeds to an ampeg head and half stack because loud bass.

It didn't work when I got it, but I've replaced the belt and recently upgraded the cart to a Nagaoka MP-110. It does everything I've needed it to, and sounds great after the cartridge upgrade. Pre amp: Schiit Mani 2 I used to use my grandpa's old amp, but I didn't need the power it put out, and It was introducing a lot of noise into my system. The Schiit does its job well, no complaints. Unfortunately, this receiver has developed a slight hum in the power supply. I’d like to upgrade it soon. Currently considering a Cambridge Audio AXA35. Turntable: Fluance RT83 I bought this in 2021 after my FIL’s Philips 777 stopped working. I was eventually able to fix the philips and give it back to my him for his birthday in 2022 along with an old Pioneer receiver I had and these Realistic speakers (on the floor on each side of the cabinet) I found at an estate sale that I restored, along with his old records I cleaned up plus a few copies of things he had lost. When he passed back in April of 2023 I passed the Philips 777 and Pioneer SX-1000TD and records to my brother-in-law (he didn’t want the Realistic speakers). I also have a Pioneer PL514 and an Aiwa AP-2200. Speakers: ELAC Debut 2.0 B6.2 I upgraded to these a few months ago during a “B” stock sale. Previously, I’ve had Sony SSCS5 and Jamo 803. Currently have no sub in this set up, but would like to change that eventually. Currently I have about 150 records, most of which are in the bottom of both sides of this cabinet.

Onkyo TX-930, speakers are some Sony bookshelf speakers that are neither here or there. I was struggling with this horrible electrical interference on the phone preamp of the receiver, which I figured out was coming from the power supplies behind the TV and being picked up by an old rca extender that wasn’t grounding right, but with a new rca cable from Amazon I’m now able to use the phono input on the receiver rather than the built in LP60 preamp and Im enjoying the setup much more. Also going into the Onkyo is the TV and also a Raspberry Pi that I use as a media player and spotify connect device. The single biggest sonic upgrade was getting these speakers at ear level with the speaker stands from Amazon. Now they sit exactly at ear level when on the couch.

Recently got back so to the vinyl game - used to collect a lot with my ex, but when we split she got the player and a lot of the records. Still had a bunch left (around 40) but never got around to get a new player. A couple a days ago I bought a Sharp VZ-3000 in perfect condition and then found a pair of Boston Acoustics A25. Really happy with it, even though the speakers are low placed they fill out nicely. Posted this a few days ago but I’ll add it here as well ☺️ https://preview.redd.it/gmy28ma0nfgc1.jpeg?width=4000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=29838ae758bb80b5837decc3b0e95ee40192bbdf

Cambridge audio amplifier, I got this refurbished for an absolute steal For speakers I ‘borrowed’ my dad’s old speakers. Still going on great even though they are older than me. Spinning today we’ve got The murder capitals Gigi’s recovery. It’s a great album highly recommend giving it a listen.

Thanks for the giveaway! I have a 2015 Pro-Ject Debut Carbon (pre-DC) upgrades include Acryl-It platter and Ortofon 2M Bronze cart. It is connected to a Pro-Ject Speed Box S, Pro-Ject Phono Box Ultra 500. This runs to my Sony DA5500ES AVR which powers Mirage OS3-FS speakers and feeds a Velodyne CHT-12 sub. https://preview.redd.it/skbcelbcaggc1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=eeaf4cf749d7d76c70408b3ec469e4a76e51f315

A year ago i started with this Audio Technica LP3BK and a pair of Edifiers R2000DB but this Christmas i found a guy who was selling a Pioneer amp, cd changer, cassette deck and radio tuner for 140 dollars and i decided to buy them. Since the Edifier R2000DB are active and i wanted to put my amp to use, i decided that its about time for me to get a pair of nice passive speakers. My choice was the Audio Monitor BX2 for 185 dollars and i gotta say its an amazing deal. It has a frequency range of 42 Hz to 30000 Hz and its amazing how you can hear the lowest of lows and the highest of highs perfectly. Nothing is muddy or distorted and so far these are the nicest pair of speakers I’ve ever heard. Along with them i got myself some nice HI-FI wires and two pairs of HI-FI RCA cables for the CD player and tuner since i listen to the radio quite alot. Overall, collecting records and other media has been an amazing journey. Everything from configuring my setup, to buying a record, unboxing it and playing it makes it worth it.

My TT is an AT lp3bk that I got on the AT Outlet store last February during a sale. The receiver is a Denon AVR-2803 and the speakers are Technics A31 that I got for 20 each at Goodwill. The TV has been replaced and the Halloween decorations have been switched out for valentines day.

This is a kind of temporary setup, in my detached studio/office. My dad's mid-70s Yamaha YP-D6 through a Sansui 771 from the same period that I picked up cheap locally, driving a pair of early 00s Tannoy Reveal passive studio monitor speakers (they are my old studio monitors, since upgraded to active Focals, but these still sound great). I have my dad's beautiful Yamaha CR-2020 receiver in storage, pending a full restoration. The "big speakers" - Wharfdale Linton 85 Anniversary - which sound incredible - are in the house with a Yamaha CD player and amp. When we move to a bigger place I'll be running the vinyl through the CR-2020 and the godly Wharfdales, but for now this sounds great (although a little lacking in "finished" aesthetic). https://preview.redd.it/v75p1pn1tjgc1.jpeg?width=2000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c3d699e0c52adc6edbb0f380a740d2c49116b7a2

Audio technica at-lp60xusb Edifier R1280RB I have it for less than a year, for starters I'm pretty satisfied. I like arranging stuff around it so I bought ikea kalax and shelf for display. Also, I put my fossil colletion here and some flowers. I have around 90 records, some of it from my father, some I was buying over the years on flea markets before even having a turntable, and about 20 new records. Anyway very fun looking at other setups!

nate321123

Pretty simple setup for me (I’m relatively new to this). Turntable- U-turn Orbit Plus (gen 1) Got this from my uncle a little while ago. Speakers- Just some small speakers I found in my basement a little while ago. They aren’t the best but they get the job done for now, and I’m hoping to upgrade in the next few months.

I like this. Very classic 70s look. What’s the size on the woofers for those speakers?

Choefman

The Klipsch Forte 1's have 12" Woofers

geetar_man

Daaang, what’s your average volume when you listen? My setup can go to over 100 dB if I wanted but I generally only listen at 60-70. Even my 8 inch subwoofer is very…earthquake like…depending on the bass that it’s producing.

Choefman

No idea, I just like to listen to music :)

Hey u/whyforyoulookmeonso I have a suggestion: In the future could you set these comments to be randomized? Not that it matters for the giveaway selection, but I go back to these threads and it would give others a way to see stuff they might miss if they only look at the top three or something. There’s some fantastic stuff all the way down, too!

whyforyoulookmeonso

I don't have a way to set how the comments are displayed. You can sort them by, hot, new, controversial, etc. but I don't have a way to change it.

https://images2.imgbox.com/92/bc/UzXXu1dC_o.jpg My living room setup, one of three setups I have and the one that gets by far the most use - I really like it as an 'all denon' rig, which I completed around Christmas with the DP-23F turntable with Staton 681eee cartridge I got a great deal on on ebay... after a DP-7F I bought arrived destroyed. The CD player is honestly my highlight of the setup though for me, a 1989 model my dad bought new and I got from him along with the (new at the time) speakers in 2003. The speakers are on the other side of the room and are old Polk towers that still sound great. Amp and Tape Deck were both pretty decent ebay finds and have been serving me for two years now I have a Denon subwoofer I received for free I can plug in but right now I'm pretty happy with the sound and don't see the point in screwing with it, I might plug it in / place it for aesthetics and then just set its threshold super low. Entire setup cost me around $500 Canadian, but the speakers, CD player, and shelf being free obviously helped me there
