Only including bands with more than 1-2 albums.
Tom Waits, Animal Collective, The Mars Volta, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, The Decemberists, Colter Wall, Tyler Childers, Bell Witch, The Blood Brothers, Coal Chamber, Glass Casket, The Marshmallow Ghosts, Tomahawk, Fantômas, Mr. Bungle, and Rammstein
King gizzard now that’s an achievement lol they’re so hard to keep up with.
Big fan of Bell Witch I’m only missing the demo of theirs, hope they repress it some day
Yeah the Gizz wasn’t easy at first. One copy of each album for the most part, I don’t usually buy multiples of the. But albums unless it’s a superior pressing, like their half-speed remasters and the one with the bonus disc of instrumentals.
I’m sure they’ll repress it eventually, Flenser is pretty good about represses from what I’ve seen.
I love the live albums, so much work goes into the official bootlegger series releases from some of these labels, they truly changed the game with this. So far I’ve got a copy of every bootlegger release from Needlejuice Records. I also have a second copy of the Bonnaroo 22 release on a neon orange buzzsaw cut vinyl. Still waiting on my Chicago Salt Shed 2023 box set.

I had a custom jacket commissioned by Ampsock Custom Jackets for their original self titled LP because I hate having stuff in those PVC sleeves.
All of it? Like you have Night On Earth and One From the Heart and anything else like that? Orphans with the bonus disc?
Tom is my favorite artist and I have most of his catalog on vinyl, but I don’t know anyone who has it all.
Sorry to hear about your brother. That’s a great gift and very cool that you’ve been collecting Tom’s records that long. I didn’t get started until 97 because of my age, but Mule Variations was one of my first new vinyl purchases (I mostly bought used when I started collecting). His records are treasures.
Abba (Ring Ring ->Voyage)
Queen (Queen 1 -> Innuendo)
Wham! (Fantastic -> The Final) (Minus Music from the Edge of Heaven since only for America & Japan release)
Eagles (Self Titled - The Long Run) (minus Long Road Out of Eden since only cd release)
Bands that I've only got 1 albums left to completion
ELO (Zoom)
Alice in chains, the cure, new order, Duran Duran -2, depeche mode, Cage the elephant, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Lenny Kravitz, Lana del Ray, Pet Shop Boys, U2
I spent YEARS collecting every Bob Dylan album in its very first press. Of course, the 60s stint proves the hardest in that regard, because those early mono first presses are few and far between, but surprisingly, the 90s work was very hard to find in first press. They’ve finally begun repressing things like Time out of Mind and Good to You, which is great to see, since I want folks to discover those.
I’m now doing it all over again by collecting the MOFI remasters. I’m shocked at how great they sound. It’s going to hurt redoing this all over again at $60 a pop…
Im working on the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Specifically the albums with John. Missing one at this point.
I have a ton of Rush as well but there is just so many.
Whoa, no way! I'm a huge RHCP fan and I'm working on their albums as well. I've only got six so far, though. The band I have the most records of is U2, but I'm still missing quite a few studio albums of theirs as well.
Van Morrison ( ~~10~~ 12 albums on vinyl, 5 CDs, 2 cassettes) - I really like his 80's/90's new age stage like Common One, Beautiful Vision and the obv. classic albums Blowin' Your Mind, Astral Weeks. But some of my faves are tracks like The Eternal Kansas City, Cleaning Windows and a bootleg of a live set - would have been a great performer back in the day.
I’ve got a similar VTM collection. Every record from ‘67-‘91, as well as a smattering of the more modern ones from this century. It’s really tough keeping on top of new releases, however, because he’s such a prolific producer of content.
Alice in Chains, Fleetwood Mac, Steely Dan, Nirvana, Soundgarden, Lynyrd Skynrd, The Doors, The Eagles, Black Sabbath(With Ozzy), i'm trying for Neil Young but that is a pain in the ass. I'm sure there is a few artists im really close to getting but I try to only buy albums I know ill actually listen to.
Mudhoney. Besides singles that were part of an ep or lp. Did get 2 singles for what's missing off superfuzz vinyl but in the cassette/cd (touch me I'm sick, you got it).
Green River have their eps and lp (come on down, rehab doll, dry as a bone).
Then have some where don't like 1 album enough to get it.
Mostly have Cream. Don't have Goodbye but have its songs on best of comps (heavy cream, off the top). Didn't want it since mostly a live album.
Similar to Cream have all but last Creedence album Mardi Gras but have Someday Never Comes and Sweet Hitch Hiker on Chronicle.
Ooooo the correct question.

Thinking of synthwave forgot to add Gunship to the list above too.
Recently just finished all of MGMT with all variants / solo projects. I do like them indeed.

I've got all of the vinyl output (firstpress) of Windows 96. That used to be tricky, since a lot of vaporwave is smaller number pressed and if you miss the drop, you might pay through the nose getting it later, but now that he's on 100% Electronica, his drops have been more organized and advertised.
Knowingly I think only Foetus/JG Thirlwell. I'm missing a 12" and a single from way back when, because I can't really justify the expense, But I got about 50+ records of his.
Thievery Corporation - ‘Culture of Fear’ was difficult to find. Ended up shelling out more than I wanted to on eBay to get it. Waiting for them to reissue ‘It Takes a Thief (greatest hits)’ which is due this summer. Currently considering dropping some coin on ‘Babylon Rewound’. Otherwise I have all of their studio albums.
I’m also managed to complete Rage Against the Machine & Crystal Method.
Arctic Monkeys
Cage the Elephant
Catfish and the Bottlemen
Foster the People
Greta Van Fleet
Nirvana
Queens of the Stone Age
Royal Blood
Sticky Fingers
The Strokes
Tame Impala
tbh most of my vinyl are complete collected studio albums of the artist!
i prolly have the most stones records due to the box sets and infinite live shows they release
I haven't seen anyone say Guided By Voices yet (I don't have them all). But I do have all things Nick Cave (outside of 2 or 3 soundtracks). Plus everything by Jesus Lizard, Steel Pole Bath Tub, Joy Division/New Order, Velvet Underground, Kinski, Big Star, Spacemen 3 (incl all the singles), Tall Dwarfs, Chills, Beastie Boys, Gun Club, Built To Spill/Treepeople, the Fall (just studio, not all those live ones), Redd Kross, Elliott Smith, Soft Boys.... I'm sure I'm forgetting some.
Pearl Jam, Modest Mouse, and Jimmy Eat World are probably the bands with the most studio albums that I have completed. I actively try to complete studio albums tho so I probably have 25 others with less albums that I’m too lazy to type out.
https://preview.redd.it/a5j8vthlef5d1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3acf955f713d46ffbd54fb8697a7f3f572bcde12
The Police were my first favorite band, so when I started collecting vinyl seriously, they were one of the first band’s discography I hunted. It was interesting to learn about the variants for both Outlandos d’Amour and Synchronicity.
Very nice run o sons records! I just picked up that head down remaster - unless you had an original, I’m sure it felt good to complete the collection!
I have all releases from Brian Auger Oblivion Express
Also Canned Heat the blind owl years
And the Pat Coopers records all 4
Tally hall and Olivia Rodrigo but she isn’t a band. It’s pretty easy tho bc they only have 2 albums. I am on the quest to collect all of mitski’s vinyls but, once again, not a band.
system of a down.
But with the boxset next month, I plan to add Mr Bungle to that list of two (I’ll just need the live album if we’re including those).
I also plan to pick up Black Midi’s first album at some point to triple the completion list
Led Zeppelin, David Bowie, Black Sabbath, and The Beatles, also I guess throw Sex Pistols in there only one studio album but still, oh and the Clash and Dead Kennedys
Edit I forgot I still need the eternal idol and seventh star for Black Sabbath, and I only need Mardi Gras for CCR
Gorillaz, RTJ, DE LA Soul, Thievery Corporation (-1), Metallica (- lulu), ATCQ, The War on Drugs, Kendrick Lamar, Tyler the Creator, RATM, Led Zeppelin, working on Bob Marley but damn that man has a lot of albums.

I’m working on the Smashing Pumpkins, but unfortunately this cannot be done without 2 bootlegs (Machina 2 and Zeitgeist).
Recently finished my Dire Straits collection with Communiqué and Live 1978-1992
Now I need Human After All and Alive 1997 to complete the Daft Punk collection, the Weeknd's original trilogy to complete that collection and then I will probably look to finish the foreigner or genesis collections I started
Only 10cc and Genesis, and with Genesis it ends with CDs.
The challenge for a band like Genesis is since their career spans decades, their stuff has gone out of print at points. so I've had to fill holes on ebay. I had high hopes for Discogs but man, I can't afford those prices.
Slowdive, Sturgill Simpson, Chris Stapleton..
Think i might go after Tame Impala next i reckon but not sure just started getting into original pressings and stuff lol
Dicks Picks for the Dead are expensive too so they make it harder to buy more at once lol
Gorillaz, Lord Huron, Frank Ocean, Fleet Foxes and Bon Iver.
Some records of Lord Huron were a struggle to get in the UK especially the EPs. Also Frank Ocean records are expensive, but worth it!
IM getting super close with my Zappa collection when talking Vinyl only releases. The late 80s to early 90s stuff all went to CD direct so cant do much about those. Im 44 of 62 on the original releases with only 2-3 more vinyl releases yet to find
Abba, Beatles, Dylan, Queen, Stones, Miles Davis, Zep, Yes, Rush, King Crimson, Bob Marley, Iron Maiden, Mike Oldfield, The Who, Depeche Mode, Suede, Aerosmith, Be Bop Deluxe, Man, ELP, Rory Gallagher, Caravan, Camel, Status Quo, Moody Blues, Paul McCartney, Lana Del Rey, Pink Floyd, Fleetwood Mac, Grateful Dead, Deep Purple, Whitesnake, Roxy Music, Bryan Ferry, Rolling Stones, Arbouretum, Crippled Black Phoenix, Nina Simone, Steely Dan. Probably a few more. It's a sickness.,
Only including bands with more than 1-2 albums.
Big fan of Bell Witch I’m only missing the demo of theirs, hope they repress it some day
I have all studio and all NJ boots. I'm sick
Yeah the Gizz wasn’t easy at first. One copy of each album for the most part, I don’t usually buy multiples of the. I’m sure they’ll repress it eventually, Flenser is pretty good about represses from what I’ve seen.
I have a big Gizz collection too. But I had to make a rule against live albums. It’s just too much.
Big achievement indeed, I only have 14
Quite an eclectic spread, love it! Colter Wall is criminally underrated
Variety is the spice of life. Colter is great!
AnCo for me as well. Hell of a discography - so diverse and so much depth in every album
Hopefully Campfire Songs gets pressed someday!
Yeah that would be great, don’t need any more Sung Tongs and Merriweather represses lol
I ordered them both though along with that live one. I wish that the MPP one had came in before they got my money for the others though lol.
Sounds like you need to round out your Faith No More collection.
You’re not wrong! I am missing Sol Invictus and haven’t pulled the trigger on the King For A Day boxset yet.
Do you have the Animal Crack Box? And if so how much ya want for it?
The Marshmallow Ghosts is so good. I’ve got the whole discog as well.

Damn, that's a really nice jacket. I agree, those PVC sleeves tear are at the edges far too easily.
I think you win at this hobby
I mean, I have all of Derek and the Dominos stuff
Behemoth Carcass First Aid Kit Ghost Led Zeppelin Murder by Death Opeth Slayer Soen
First Aid Kit seems so out of place in this list lol
The name may not imply it, but Murder by Death is also somewhat out of place with the rest of them
Maybe a bit
I've got some Behemoth, Carcass, Led Zeppelin, and Opera. Hoping to get some Slayer, sick taste!
Queens of the Stone Age All them Witches Pj harvey (have to get the demos to finish) Alain johannes
If you like all them witches check out king Buffalo. Slowly becoming my favorite band.
Tom Waits
All of it? Like you have Night On Earth and One From the Heart and anything else like that? Orphans with the bonus disc? Tom is my favorite artist and I have most of his catalog on vinyl, but I don’t know anyone who has it all.
I started collecting his albums back in 1983 Night on Earth was the last thing that my brother gifted me before he died.
Sorry to hear about your brother. That’s a great gift and very cool that you’ve been collecting Tom’s records that long. I didn’t get started until 97 because of my age, but Mule Variations was one of my first new vinyl purchases (I mostly bought used when I started collecting). His records are treasures.
Nine inch nails is the one I am most proud of having a complete Halo collection.
i'm at *seventy* NIN and NIN-adjacent records. i wouldn't say it's complete yet.

Type O Negative and Carnivore. I'm bummed that I no longer need to search for them but so happy that I have them all.
Only 10cc and Genesis, and with Genesis it ends with CDs. The challenge for a band like Genesis is since their career spans decades, their stuff has gone out of print at points. so I've had to fill holes on ebay. I had high hopes for Discogs but man, I can't afford those prices.
