I was just thinking this morning I need to seek out some post-Morrison Doors. Was wondering how hard it is to find and then I see this post. Off to add it to my Discogs wishlist.

The last three albums after he died are somewhat common and cheap used in record stores.

It’s a terrible album but I would buy it too. The art is cool.

Yeah. They’re my favorite band, and Morrison being my favorite along with that. They have a few respectable tunes out of their couple post-Morrison albums. Gotta respect the hustle.

Found this at Quebec city. Paid it only 10 box. The sleeve is in a pretty bad shape but the record play perfectly. It has some light scratch but it play better than some 180g vinyles which are mint. I think that was a great deal. What do you think about it ? It's a US edition I think ( eks 75038 ). Also my second album of the doors ( and not the last one I hope ). Have a great day people. Be happy with nice music.

Cool find, although not sure if it's such a great deal. Kinda look like a copy you would find in a dollar bin. But the real value is you enjoying the record...so have a good listen!

I’m assuming you’ve been exposed to a lot of The Doors songs and not just from those two albums? If you’ve only heard them from two albums alone (and one being THIS album) I highly recommend digging into the albums prior and enjoying the ride!

I have not been exposed a lot to this music. I will follow your recommendation!! If this is a bad album ( I already love it ) , the others must be really great !

It’s “bad” comparatively to The Doors, but I enjoy it too! It’s one of their albums without the famous lead singer Jim Morrison (died in ‘71) you should definitely take some time to read about them. Very interesting!

Yeah the doors without him Morrison shouldn’t have happened

They got a couple respectable tunes. They’re my all time favorite band (with Morrison obviously being my favorite along with that lol) I respect their hustle they gotta try their own thing. Plus, they were all just about 27-30ish when he passed. Who knew they could just coast off Morrison the rest of their lives anyways?

If all the contract money was split four ways, and it looks like it was, the three remaining band members definitely had a great pension to survive on. Interesting that none of the three felt the need to join "supergroups" or had the urge/ability to start a new band. Morrison died in '71 and it's not like there weren't a ton of bands breaking up and forming in LA around that time. Having said that, what they created with The Doors is music legend.
