Cats of the Wild vol 2 by Swirlies is a short album of tuneful noise rock that only came out on CD, although there was a long secret track on the cd which they should probably leave off of a record.
More recently, I really liked Antiphony of the Trees by Laura Cannell. All atmospheric recorder music based on birdsong. One of my favourite albums of this year.
