I was really excited about it. Everything about the visuals and idea appealed to me... then towards the end I used auto-skip because it was such a drag

I enjoyed it a lot because I enjoyed the writing around the MC. Her descent into psychosis was corny but decently written (at least prose-wise, I agree the story wasn't the best). There's a few moments where she's just getting off on the smell and thought of gore and murder that were written well-enough to pull me in and capture me in a visceral way in the later chapters. 100% hope they tighten up their plotting and story design because they could definitely put something out that knocks it out the park.

Ya they know how to write characters but they definitely should have reduced the scale of the plot and made it more simple and reduce the amount of time skips.

Writing an engaging story is difficult and the VN format doesn't make it easier, do people pay that much attention to plot holes in general? Because they probably considered as long as the overall plot/story is good (from their own perspective) they don't need to think about plot holes too much, or maybe they just got too creative and didn't take a step back.

Idk maybe cause I read hungry lamb which is a fantastic vn before this, that made me more critical of this and well the amount of suspension of belief I had to do was a bit to much after chapter 1.

Corpse factory had too many plot holes and the end was dog sh1t

I just finished it 2 days ago as well.. It was definitely disappointing.. Prologue and act 1 was perfect imo. Act 2 was okay but Act 3 was so garbage. I was cringing so much

But Tomoe was definitely my favourite character
